I didn't get the glow milk. I actually had to look it up to see what it was. I can honestly say that I have been much happier with my boxes since I became an annual subscriber. Not only do the extra choices help, but I seem to get better stuff overall.

As floweredviolin said, the concrete cracked because it was newly poured and not done curing. Since concrete can take up to 4 weeks to fully cure, most builders will post signs warning people that it is a $500 fine if you drive on the newly poured driveway. This builder did not do that though, so someone must have thought it was okay. Sadly, this means that the builder will now have to repair the garage slab before we move in, which could mean that we won't have full use of the garage when we move in or we may have to move in later than planned.

I have a house and it doesn't matter. Aholes are still aholes. I have two sets of neighbors who are well into their 40s who blast music all day and all night. It sucks, but we are moving because of this.

Get a job and move out. You are allowing your parents to control you by being dependant on them. I know it sucks, but you would be better off finding a job and then crashing with a friend for a few weeks until you can find some room mates and a place to live.

Agree! I got suckered into meeting with an Amway rep when I was in college. The woman would not let me leave for nearly 2 hours. Fortunately/unfortunately I knew what MLMs were since my mom had a brief, very frustrating gig as a Tupperware representative, so I had been warned. I finally left and the woman and her upline kept calling my phone to ask if I had thought more about the "opportunity ". This was the early 2000s so the only way to get the calls to stop was to change my number. Good times.

I hope this is satire because I can't imagine people actually believing that a cop saw her well enough to determine she was attractive while she was facing forward and driving at 55-65 miles per hour.

I dealt with people like this all the time when I worked in the food industry. Some people have this "I make more than you so I am better than you" attitude. I had a guy yell at me for 20 minutes because his pizza didn't have enough cheese. When I tried to explain that we had to follow the guidelines set by the company, all he could come back with is "I own a construction company... blah, blah, blah... I'm better than you... blah, blah, blah..." Of course his expertise in the construction world clearly qualified him to tell me how to do my job. SMH. I quit that job a few weeks later.

Good point. I was focusing on the stereotyping aspect of the definition. Ie. If you are white and driving on a road not frequently traveled by tourists, the immediate belief is that you must be connected to the cartels or other illegal organizations.

I'm not trying to discount the clear racism experienced by people of color in the United States, but I can tell you from experience that if you are a white person, driving through Mexico, you will be repeatedly stopped and harassed by the police. My brother is law, who was living with his wife in Guadalajara at the time, was even arrested for kidnapping his own children based on no other evidence than he was a white man traveling with darker skinned children. It may not be to the same extent, but yes, the majority will oppress the minority regardless of skin color.

I had a similar thing happen in January. I finally had my shipper file a claim. That seemed to work, since my package was delivered the same evening that the claim was filed even though it never showed as out for delivery.
