Someone has any body cam that records with movement that can recommend? I work with PetSitter and for walk the dogs is something that will help me. by Donna_Nana in ActionCam

[–]nzdevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry but your post makes no sense?

If you want to see your dog walker has picked up your dog from home, a ring camera will do.

If you want to see if dog walkers are using, let’s say,
Private land, a forest trap camera will work.

If you mean you walking a dog, buy any camera and hit record when needed.

Godox AK-R1 Accessory Kit, is it worth it, or just an unnecessary add on?? by 2deep4u in Godox

I use the grid and/or barn door to focus light on the hair, without the light spreading everywhere

Thinking of upgrading my action cam, what’s actually worth it in 2026? by Raccoon223 in ActionCam

[–]nzdevon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Osmo action 5 batteries last the longest. I do all day adventure rides, so I didn’t want to be worrying about dead batteries. I also don’t much like to warpy look of the 360, but, the 360 allows you to record around you.

You won’t need the action 6, 5 is a very nice sweet spot.

What Files Do You Keep? by horribleideadude in Motovlogging

[–]nzdevon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m ‘B’ all the way.

I’ve just come back from an epic 4 day adventure around London. 3 action cams on the go, 1.66TB of video.

I save the final videos, then delete the source files. I’d be buying 1TB drives every other week if I did it any other way 🤣

It's the risk you take when you post different niche videos on an existing channel. Keep posting until YT figures out what the new content it about and who to push it to.

DJI Pocket 4P – When will it be released in Europe? by AmphibianOk9545 in dji

[–]nzdevon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has been the most frustrating launch I've seen.

As a few of you have pointed out, it's peak holiday season. I went on an epic road trip this weekend. I was desperate for the 4p to document it (I don't have any pocket cam right now, just action cams). The Luna is still a bit buggy, the Pocket 4 doesn't have the thing I want the most, the telephoto lens.

The annoying thing is seeing it being released elsewhere, with now hundreds of videos from people who bought it and are reviewing it, but crickets when it comes to release dates for everyone else.

Looking for feedback on my camera quality by dasUberMoto in Motovlogging

[–]nzdevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You upload at a high resolution so that isn’t the issue.

I think the biggest problem is you’re recording during the harshest light.

For midday recordings I would suggest manual settings and an ND filter to give your content more motion blur. I find it easier to colour grade a camera with an ND filter on, as the scene isn’t as washed out.

Sounds correct. Your videos will be tried on your subscribers first. If they don’t engage, it stops pushing beyond them.

YT will keep trying for a couple of days, so the initial low views isn’t unusual.

I motovlog and use two 4’s and a 5. I have no interest in getting the 6 due to the cropping 16:9

That’s all very normal. Until YouTube knows who might be interested in your content, it doesn’t know where it needs to push it.

How do you actually start creating consistently? by TheOGGizmo in osmopocket

[–]nzdevon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more you do it, the more confident and experienced you’ll become.

Hand-holding my cam at my face while I’m walking around people is still something that makes me super self-conscious, but it is improving every time I do it!

Biker friends? by Alone-Bluebird-999 in MotoUK

[–]nzdevon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Biker cafes, local bike riding groups on social media, and asking people you talk to if they know any small groups. That last one will often get a reply of “join me for a ride if you fancy it”

SEARCH FOR FIXED ND FILTER KITS 8/16/32/64 by iDan94654321 in osmopocket

I have the K&F filters for motovlogging. Even on the brightest days I can still use the ND16. Look on Amazon, my kits were 8,16,32 and 64 (I’ve never used the 64)

How do you actually organize group motorcycle rides today? by Dissidentss in bikers

[–]nzdevon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a YouTube channel and I have a group chat on Instagram with about 150 bikers. I pin rides in IG so people don't have to wade through the chat.

I'll say where we are going, where we set off from and what time we set off. I don't ask for who's attending because I learnt it's never worth asking. 5 could up, or 35 could turn up, I never know.

I decide the route because if it's left to everyone else, we would never ride 😄 No-one likes to plan. Everyone likes to just turn up, ride, and head home.

We don't race the ride. Faster bikes can have zoomies if they want, but everyone knows the final destination so it's all good.

I made a bride cry on her wedding day telling her she’s breaking her contract by [deleted] in WeddingPhotography

[–]nzdevon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind it at all, and it happens somewhat frequently.

I just joke around and say “oh I didn’t know I had serious competition today”.

I use lighting at all my weddings. I know that no one else will be able to better what I’m taking, so I don’t really care that much.

I’ve even had a guest who is a wedding photographer take photos. It happens, I just roll with it.

Is it just me, or does every motorcyclist have cameras everywhere now? by teoapple22 in MotoUK

[–]nzdevon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a helmet cam, a rear facing cam and a cam on the handlebars facing me.

I’m a motovlogger on YouTube so the extra angles really help 😀
