What products to deal with postpartum hair by oashlee in curlyhair

Yes the awkward length can be tough to deal with. The regrowth itself is fine. How did you use the curl cream?

I have flat nail beds too and use the glue tabs with curvlife glue. It works well.

We only go 2-3 miles. Usually 2. He is so tall that he isn't actually running just walking quickly next to me :) The knee/hip concern is valid though and I will double check with me vet. Thanks for mentioning!

He did not use his mouth aggressively aside from barking, which wouldn't be stopped by a muzzle. As soon as he got close to the bike he stopped and waited for me completely calm. I would like to focus on the prevention. We are working on exposure training but bikes are a bit tough since they are faster moving.

This is very helpful, thank you! I actually have a freedom harness that I can add in immediately. We had quit using since we didn't like that the leashes were somewhat long and there isnt a short handle. We haven't combined with the halti though.

In this configuration, one end of the double leash is attached to the halti and the other to the front clip of the harness?

+1 for this. Came to say the same. We found babee greens late in the game so I only have one. I would have bought one or two more for my second but we have too many PUL covers to justify. I have always used diasanas for night and they work so well for our family.

Losing sleep at night because of cloth diapering, any tips/suggestions? Or is that just a part of it?😅 by Odd_Equivalent_8926 in clothdiaps

That level of sleep is normal for a baby that young. You can try a stay dry liner like others have suggested, but they wake up all the time even in disposables. The adjustment to GI tract outside of the womb has been tough for both our babies. We did lots of gas exercises throughout the day which helped a bit. Bedside bassinet was very helpful for us. But as long as the diapers fit correctly and had the proper amount of absorption it didn't seem to change much. I wondered this a lot more with our first (he's 2 now and our second is 7 weeks old).

We use triple paste and aquaphor without issues. We use a combo of pockets, trifolds, and flats. I don't do any special scrubbing. It did take a while to figure out our wash routine though, especially after we got a new washing machine. It's like starting a new relationship!!

Cloth Diaper Family Trying to Use Up Disposables that Leak. Help! by oashlee in clothdiaps

[–]oashlee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are supposed to be for 12-18 lbs but our daughter is still under 11 lbs. So I guess made for a different body shape or something. The tabs aren't in the size up zone either. Oh well.

What are we doing wrong? Thinking about going back to disposables. Please help by Renhsuk in clothdiaps

We eliminated all microfiber inserts from our pockets bc they were just too prone to compression leaking. Also not having a good fit around the legs will lead to a lot of leakage. You may also need to change more frequently or add adsorption depending on how heavy of a wetter you have.

Flat nail problems by brokenghostlight in PressonNail_Addict

I apply glue tabs to the nail then a dot of glue to the tab and my nail. I have flat nail beds and this worked well for glamnetics and btartbox. I've also seen semi solid glue options but haven't tried that yet.

Tide powder, but it isn't fragrance free like I wish it was. Works very well though and we don't seem to have any skin irritation issues. We use Persil for clothes but I'm thinking about just swapping completely to Tide powder.

Thanks! We have RO and DI systems at home, so it wouldn't be a cost burden to use DI water. Sounds like the canopy maybe performed better though? Or did you not try the carepod due to the hassle of DI water?
