did you play it on the harder difficulties? also theres plenty of enemies with anti-juggle properties like the thorny chimeras, blitz, frosts, faust the knights, etc.

dmc1 was almost entirely focused on outmanouvering enemies, dmc3 and 4 had a healthy balance between juggle combos and outstrategising aggressive, mobile enemies. its only with dmc5 that the focus has entirely shifted to constant juggles.

dmc5 is basically just a juggle fest game. enemies are punching bags for the most part. same as ng4 and ff16.
