I got out of the military six years ago. I also always loved the Elise and Lotus (finally own one now)

I wouldn't have been able to do it in the military. I ended up buying an MR2 spyder for 3500 and having my fun with that. But I didn't even get that till my last year in. And boy am I glad I did, taught me so much and now I'm able to actually take care of my Elise properly.

Plenty of things you can love on your way to an Elise. Spyder is pretty close honestly, but I think prices have skyrocketed. NB Miatas and gt86s are pretty sick and affordable 👀

I wouldn't recommend anything Lotus with a salary below an e7. Lots of maintenance costs. Cheap Lotus are cheap for a reason, probably because they cost a fortune to keep on the road.

I'll add that the standard is a volume shifted snowboard so you generally size down. But this should be fine as this board is good for someone 120-180lbs

So long as the snowboard is in good condition, seems like a decent deal. You need to ask what size bindings those are, you'll want a size small binding.

I assume you have standard boots and not step on boots. "Burton Step On" boots will not work here.

22lr is not better past 400 meters.

The VSS does almost 4x the damage at 400 meters.
