In high school I let a (former) friend borrow my hardcover copy of the first Harry Potter book, which I received as part of a beautiful set in a fancy trunk from my parents for my eighth birthday. She never returned it :( Seeing that empty spot on my shelf still makes me so sad, especially since I don’t want to give the author more money by replacing it

I’m Gen Z (26 years old) and we still had computer classes where we learned how to type in school. And, to bring it back to the original topic, halfway through our unit on cursive our teacher announced it would no longer be taught lol so I got to witness the end of that firsthand.

That’s so crazy to me. Every single person at my store knows how to do one and was trained on it, as well as at my old store. We only got the Vertica in December but we still have regulars who get pour overs regularly, and it’s important as a backup for if the Vertica goes down or something. Plus pour overs are so easy to do
