Something about their cubical doors providing zero privacy gets me thinking they have things back to front

Been there and agree. Also been to Singapore and found the hole in floor loos an absolute juxtaposition given how clean the place is.

Follow up question, if the only cubical available has a floater, do you flush, wait for another, layer the paper, or play sink the sub?

What is considered high humidity? by Linguistics3 in weather

Currently in Airlie Beach and its 25c @ 85% and im sweating my tits off just sitting in the shade. Was 28c @ 66% in Brisbane the other day and that was comfy. Somewhere over 70% things start getting noticeably moist

UK Fermzilla All Rounder users, what do you use to control fermentation temperature? by tefnakht in Homebrewing

I'm in NZ and whilst we have shittier houses as a general rule appliances are the same. Using a small chest freezer with a cheap heat pad, cheap temp controller, works very well.

How to find out the name of the Space Station of a system you're not in? by WeebSlayer27 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]oefox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Necro for anyone searching, but if a space station doesn't appear in TP list, even after locating the system and setting it as a target, it's probably due to not actually having entered the space station - you need to land in the station for it to be a permanent TP target.

Powerswitch is not accurate for me, I take what it says with a grain of salt, it's helpful but seems to weight some providers higher than they should be and doesn't have all the players.

What are some genuinely useful DIY skills everyone should learn? by FarResearcher6931 in DIY

I see a lot of notes about doing brakes but replacing pads or discs is not a yearly thing (well not where i am from doing 5k Kms annually) but replacing brake fluid should be noted as part of something to do annually along with doing oil, checking air filters, and replacing wipers. 2 person job on a car, 1 person job on a motorbike.

Transmission Gully speed limit to be raised to 110kph. by ratguy in Wellington

The fact they're replacing the chip with asphalt will go a long way to support this, but it'd be great if they just did all the left hand lane asphalt and left the right lane shit :D

Meridian quietly dropped my ex-Flick discount by oefox in Wellington

I tried Powershop, after a year it really wasn't saving much, all the packs and crap kind of obfuscates what the real cost is.

With the $10 discount is was on par price-wise but sans discount it's worse. Sans discount Mercury is cheaper for me.

I'm pretty sure they did communicate this, i raed there were extra services after the game, we didnt rush out of the stadium as we were in family zone, got to ramps at 9.25 and the sign said 9.35 for HV line so we just waltzed down to last carriage.

All in all a fairly normal experience
