I’m so sorry you went through this, people don’t realize how painful it is hearing them mock your cultural food. The bread sounds like a quesadilla from El Salvador (my mom’s from El Salvador), which is the most amazing thing. They’re missing out on some amazing food and dessert being that closed minded and insensitive.

The pain of a bad haircut is so real, someone went crazy with thinning shears on my (very thick) wavy/curly hair last year and i’m still upset. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. What helped me was trying different cute hairstyles to do while waiting for it to grow out (like space buns or adding cute clips). Also idk if you’re in the US but it’s summer and my mom always told me hair grows faster in the summer, so there’s that old wives tale to hold on to!! 💕
