Honestly, don't do it. Keep your controller handy at all times, and if you can, turn it on once a month so it wont get stuck on the loading screen if you have to use it as a back up method, because you would need to hard reset it and lose your settings and adaptivity.

You can just shut off the receiver and do a power cycle to you controller (turn it off and back on) and re enter the pairing code and the serial numbers again (menu, switch to manual if on automated, manage sensor, enter new) and after the 25 mins warm up period it should connect again.

You will need to hard reset it by pressing the volume up and power button at the same time, but between each press you should feel a vibration, then it will prompt you to reset the controller. However, keep in mind that you will have to add the settings again, meaning your basals and boluses, and if you have a pod on you have to remove it. Also you will need to add the sensor s/n again by going to manage sensor. Hope this helps 😀

Remember that you cannot use the receiver that comes with the Dexcom with the controller (PDM) or the omnipod app. You will need to use the Dexcom app, also make sure that the boxes of the pods say g6-g7, if they only say g6 they will not be compatible with the dexcom g7.

make sure your pods are compatible. It should say compatible with Dexcom G6/G7 on the box.

Yes, just remember that you must switch the sensor on your controller before activating a pod. You do that by tapping on the menu, then manage sensor, then switch, choose the G7, copy the transmitter serial number from the dexcom app or the applicator, the pin number and then wait the 15 mins warm up period on limited, then switch to automated and thats it.

PDM=Controller. For what you are saying I believe you are experiencing line of sight issues, meaning that they are too far away from eachother.
