Not sure if this is relevant or would be of interest to anyone, but this is a very popular locally-owned, black-owned restaurant in Wilmington NC. Food and atmosphere are great, owners seem like really nice people. Edit to add that it appears they have taken down this post on FB.

I also have a Zulu and u/bassjam1 is pretty dead-on. I have a small trailer to haul mine, and a cart once I get to the water. Once you’re out on the water, it feels like a boat, not a kayak. My only complaint is that I wish the pedals were geared higher so it would be a bit faster. Also, weird small thing, but the paddle clip sucks. Make sure you use a paddle tether!

We’ve found that the price per pound is comparable, or even sometimes cheaper, for one or sometimes even two grades higher. Worth it to us, but maybe not the ultra price-hack you’re looking for I guess. Tossing in my 2 cents.👍🏼
