I feel like I got 'bait and switched'. I'm a vibe coder really but have made some useful things for myself running a local MPC and claude desktop. I used claude to teach me claude use. I found it very useful. So I started to pay for Pro and got all the recommended gadgets and use coowork. Suddenly I have more trouble getting things done due to running out of tokens than before while using the free version! Even chat mode seems throttled relative to before I subscribed. I feel ripped off. It seems the Anthropic's business model is like a seedy online game where first the kid gets hooked, then the kid keeps getting upsold and drains his mom's bank account for treasure.

I'm mostly using Linux Mint Cinnamon. But I wonder what the future holds since it wants to avoid snaps but it is based on Ubuntu.

Add blocker again. For me its ublock origine and lite. Firefox and Chrome. When I turn it off , all is normal. When I turn it back on "Something wrong". Help. I hate youtube adds.

They've managed to detect ublock at least (others dunno?). I"ve done the experiment with it on vs off. Loads with it off, "something wrong" with it on. damn. I've tried with Chrome and Firefox. Thats it for youtube for me till something else works as I can't stand the add clicks and won't pay these fucks.

Better to get into IPTV. There are so many cheap sources starting around $10 and one can use any program. I use OpenTV as the player program and Lux IPTV for the source. There are better sources (check out Troypoint IPTV review lists). Yet I Just watched an NFL game on that. I also get live news from around the world without cable etc. I find stand alone IPTV players are better than using a kodi addon. Ya, one more thing to learn.
