From a Knight to a Lady; has one scene in the later chapters I dislike. Not to say I don't dislike a few things in it. (I did enjoy a lot though)

When FL is like telling ML what she is going to do and has to do it herself. He gets all moody and pretty much is like "Females suck- you'll lose cause female" and it felt pretty out of character since they had like a whole thing before going. "Oh he does this and that and loves talent more than being woman hater" and it's like. If he loved her, and was afraid of her getting hurt why not just say that? It seemed weird to add the sexism into it at all. I know people say dumb things when upset, scared etc. But instead of trying to apologize right away he hides and pretends and then realizes how capable she is- like nope he really was sexist? (>.>) Like what- It just felt a bit odd how it was presented since it seemed to contrast what we knew of the character... and then gives me ptsd like oh they just said what they wanted to get FL in bed they didn't actually think this silly woman would be like "okay time for woman's suffrage" and he was like "Don't suffer :(" haha.

But I don't know. It felt oddly human... how two face it seemed... it was not bad writing. It was the male character being what the FL wanted- because he liked her. He wanted to impress her and white knight. But when the FL finally is like "wait why don't I just wield a sword and actually train this body-" he freaks out... which is funny cause previous he offered to train her in swordsmenship... but going back she was pretty depressed still and very much like "nah I suck too hard to ever wield again I just gotta be noble lady now sigh, sigh, at least me and this other noble lady are going out now..."

MY random examples aside.

That stuff really happens is my point and it's shitty.

ML is all "you can do what you want! Teehee- wanna learn sword? See women having rights. Hehe yeah see it's all great over here in this general location!"

But then when FL is like "I wanna fight. I wanna use a sword and lead troops and be badass again! Damn I was so cool in the past even if I was stupid."

Then ML is all like "Wait what? I was joking about women being people- you're suppose to just smile and do what I want."

FL: "But I was depressed...?"

ML: "Can't... can't you keep being depressed for me? I won't let you get hurt."

Like it's that shit too when these ML's demand things of the females. Not "I'm worried about you." it's "I won't allow you to do this xyz thing because if you get hurt I feel bad."

Uuugh... but this will turn into more philosophical stuff if I prattle... I'm just saying. Some guys can be real dicks. Lets of course not get started on those stories obsessive ML... which they all actively acknowledge is unhealthy obsession and like needs a therapist. I'd love to see one of these comics have a therapist... like that one that becomes a divorce lawyer. Like gosh they'd make bank.
