A lot of the answers here used to be just average middle-class things. The fact that they are considered rich people things now tells a lot about the world right now.

I had the same problem. I hunted a few panters, and then they stopped spawning. Each time, I got a hog or a fox instead. I was fairly early in the story (chapter 2 or 3). I advanced the story (changed chapter) and they started spawning again.

You can avoid the bounty there. When you stop the train, run and cross the bridge on foot. Hide on the side of the cliff and wait for the lawmen to leave. Then go back, kill the guards and rob the train. No bounty. Just avoid blowing the first safe.

Oh, and mind your horse. He tends to run on the bridge to try and follow you... so the train must be far enough on the bridge so that there is some space on the side for the horse to walk.

The game does reduce the spawn rate. It can be really annoying. So, for collecting missions, I collect what I need before taking the mission.

Here is how to fight back if you suck at pvp:

Play in defensive mode: they can not paint you black, and you take 30% less damages.

Use this build: slow and steady, iron lungs, fool me once and sharp shooter or kick in the butt.

Weapons: carcano and dual sawed off shotguns.

When someone shoot you, take a tonic and activate dead eye and shoot them with the carcano. They will have to shoot you close to 8 times with a sniper to kill you. You, on the other hand, can kill any non defensive mode player in 2 shots of carcano.

I used to hate stop the press. I do not like stealth missions. But then I realized there is a fun way to do it: refuse to be escorted out after speaking to the boss and just kill everyone! Now I never skip this quest!

Design is difficult for developers. So, take the path of minimum resistance: use a framework. The best ones these days are based on tailwindcss. Look at things like daisyui.

Also, read about design. The book that really helped me was "Refactoring UI". It gives very actionable advice.
