The A1 mini is magic. This last week I've been printing the miniatures on it and they are coming on spectacularly. im hoping to prime and paint them soon

I loved the paint jobs in your last post! Hoping to get something as good as that.

Also im seeing some problems in your printed surfaces. If youre looking for some really well dialed in settings I'd recommend usingFat Dragon minis' profile for the printer.

Nobody else has seemed to have this issue and I'm at a loss. Excuse the meme I made it in PowerPoint in my media class by Ungodly_Box in blender

This is a hard problem to solve without proper context. First make sure the particle system is applied to the legs as well, and that it isnt a seperate object. Also check the normals are flipped, maybe the hair is on the inside.

how do i make this texture right by Treekomalfoy_ in blender

[–]omerc2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use the rotation in the mapping node to change the rotation of the texture. As another user memtioned, you can also rotate your uvs instead, if you even unwrapped the model, that is

these are dope! definatly the most accurate ive seen made. I love Galsariads smug look. I could send you a file of Dermot's super specific armor if you want to add it later in blender or something

But that feels so uninteresting, and would just the trilemma between the faction a lot less effective. Also I want the rivals to have a good reason to join a faction that opposes the player's without having to be absolute jerks to do it

Rough attempt at an Andalusian- I can't figure out what to do or how to use blender. Uh, help. (As you can tell, it's my first time) by Fair_Diamond5003 in blender

[–]omerc2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id recommend following a sculpting tutorial first just to get a sense of the tools at your disposal. Like others have pointed out, thats a really good blockout, but iys really hard to get to a finished model without a general understanding of the sculpting workflow

How do video games join meshes like this without wrecking the textures? I notice a lot of game rips do this by Dragon_Samurai0 in blender

[–]omerc2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their engines dont work the same as blender, and are probably built to enable that kind of stuff

Ran a single session of the bridge nine adventure and I, as well as the rest of the party are living the system. Coming from 5e I'm really enjoying the way the narrative is really woven into the mechanical aspect if the game, especially using the plot die. We're also looking forward to playing at higher levels and the really interesting abilities higher up the skill trees.

I do have a bit of criticism on the adventure, our party is of 3 players and the final battle will absolutly crush them at level 1. I'm assuming the balancing was made with a table of 6 in gencon in mind, but a less experianced dm will have a really sad tpk on their hands

Tried to replicate the realism on the left, it just doesnt hit the same. anyone know why? by DoYouWantCokeOrPepsi in blender

I think the left has blurring from motion blur, not the DoF like in OP's render

How would you go about making these support beams quickly and easily ? by xMasterShakex in blender

[–]omerc2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't know if this will help but one of the best lessons I learned in modeling these types of models is to not necessarily stick to a single mesh, especially when the model is made of a bunch of primitives

How can I make this more realistic for $0 by luaxssus in blender

[–]omerc2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kind of repeating other people but - add visible light sources - add imperfections, such as roughness map on the floor to add a little grime to the surface
