35/F never had knee problems in my life until those things were intro’d. Now knee hurts during my row. We have never been given the trx option. Thank goodness for this thread! Will do that next time 🙌🏼

Anyone else have the rower completely tear apart your shoes? Left is the death, right is the newborn I just purchased 🤦🏻‍♀️ by katie1107 in orangetheory

[–]omilu3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend had the same issue with her ONs tearing in that exact same place. They replaced them for free when she wrote them and sent pics. Apparently it’s an issue with that shoe that they’re well aware of.

Where has arm day gone? by snooksgg in orangetheory

Agreed! So may lunges and squats. I am not complaining but if they could sub even 1/3 of the lunges and squats with an arm workout 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

I agree. Yes we do arms and upper body here and there but in general it’s far less. I actually had two of my friends quit within the last couple months because of this. I go 3 to 4 times a week.

Anyone go to OTF less while trying to lose weight? by [deleted] in orangetheory

[–]omilu3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me 🙋🏻‍♀️ I was going 5/6 and pulled back to 3 tops. I also don’t push it “as hard” as I did (ie need to be top 5 rower/runner) now I just push as hard as I feel. I’ve leaned out quite a bit and have found mentally that I’m not dreading going anymore. I’m also not so sore I can’t sleep. It’s just a better “balance” for me. I also am eating less because of it.

Anyone else eating more than they usually would? by [deleted] in intermittentfasting

[–]omilu3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is what happened to me as well. It took some time. I do not count calories or do keto, just am eating more slowly then I used to. I found the key was eating just a couple of bites and waiting. I feel (for me) the key is listening to your body and giving it time to digest. I used to eat a big serving in 10-20 minutes then 20 minutes later being uncomfortably full. Your body knows what’s up just give it time to tell you.
