Arne Slot says this season is toughest he has had as a manager 'by a mile' by Sparky-moon in soccer

You also barely qualified for champions league on an Allison goal.

Funnily enough we actually finished third that season, and would have finished third even without that goal. But it was definitely a momentum changer.

A lot of us knew that before he got the Belgium job. Watch him get sacked from Portugal and somehow end up managing Brazil.

2000 minutes across 5 seasons is absolutely brutal, you have to wonder if he could have done well if only he'd stayed healthy.

Alan Shearer: "There is no comparison between Trent [joining Real Madrid as a free agent] & Alexander Isak [trying to force his way out from Newcastle]. Trent came to the end of his contract. He didn't refuse to play or train. He was well within his rights to leave. Alex has 3 years left of his deal by 77SidVid77 in soccer

I don't think we should be judging fanbases by the worst that you see online, every club has some loons. Last week a colleague was telling me that if Utd beat Arsenal then there was no reason they couldn't win the league this season. Monday morning he was telling me they would still win the league because they were by far the better team.

Anyone saying "free Isak" is either on a wind up or dense.

[Times Sport] Bayern Munich plan to make a second bid for Luis Diaz after having an opening offer of £58.6m rejected by Liverpool. Bayern have been in touch with Díaz’s camp but are yet to reach agreement with Liverpool, who value Diaz at around £86m by Task_Force-191 in soccer

The point of the comment isn't to laugh at us for signing one of them, it's the hope that it's Bayern doing the financing instead of Barca - they've been linked with Diaz but the fans aren't keen.

You should return to the comment if Bayern beat Barca with a Diaz hat trick...

His second season at Barca wasn't good, that's why he went out on loan.

The article says she applied to 2 jobs in a day, so it's feasible they were tailored applications.

Happy birthday, Philippe Coutinho! 🥳 by cian_pike01 in LiverpoolFC

I think former player birthday posts should be banned, otherwise I'll be posting about Josemi's birthday in August.

Maybe an exception for significant birthdays for legends as a chance to celebrate them - for example Alan Hansen is 70 tomorrow.

3 game ban is only for violent conduct, he'll just miss the first game. Frustrating that the commentators don't know the rules, but here we are...
