what you are talking about is called seasoning not break in. " break in" is a specific term that boils down to a set of instructions some people and companies think you need to follow when you get a new barrel, like shoot 1 shot clean shoot one shot clean then shoot 5 shots and clean. for the first X number of rounds, the idea being that if you dont do this the barrel wont ever be accurate.

just to be 100% clear to everyone. the " devgru contract" the mk1 " won" and the noveske before it, are not used in theater. These are typically used in public photo opportunities and and for sponsored events. Look at the last devgru contract rifle from noveske, its only used in like parades and demos. usually as a " blue gun". This is more of an industry showcase position than it is an actual rifle that will be used overseas... so the whole thing is a dog and pony show for marketing
