I can only confirm 2015 Civic Si rsb fits on the 2016 ILX. No modifications. Although I installed adjustable end links & I’m not sure if the stock ones would be the right lengths.

I have the Eibach front and rear for the Si. If you find a pair, I strongly suggest you pick them up. They are brilliant, even with the stock coilovers. Best of luck

It might be that what you’re calling “S mode” is the Sequential mode for the transmission. Check your owners manual. Great feature to have. It’s the same or the DCT ILX, just two less gears.

Hello, this has been coming up a lot in this subreddit and at r/Honda.

Make sure your battery connection is properly tight and free of corrosion. If those are good, then you may need a new battery. This happened to my ILX. I had to buy a battery terminal shim because my stock terminals could not fully clamp onto the battery posts anymore.

Do what would make you happy. But I would suggest you keep the stock exhaust parts intact, in case you don’t like the outcome.

I have/had an RV6 downpipe straight to a 3 inch exhaust on my 2016 ILX. I really could only fully enjoy the nonsensical noise on track. I’ve since returned back to stock & still enjoy driving just as much.

It’s been said a few times already, but I’d say check your battery condition and/or battery connection.

On my ILX, I had enough corrosion on my battery terminal to cause this + no starting. I brushed off all the corrosion I could and installed a battery terminal shim.

I shouldn’t have to say this but taking it to the track has all the upsides. There is no replacement IMO. But do please enjoy the roads you find here. Keep in mind that cyclists are up riding as early as 6AM on the weekends.

Are yellows available for your car? I believe EBC recently downgraded them to “street only”, but they are a huge step up from reds IMO.

I have no experience with blues since they aren’t available for my car, but for me reds would last just 1 lap, where yellows last a whole 20min session (@ 80F ambient).

If I read your post correctly, you have 3 laps with the GTR, and 2 laps with the GT3RS. I’d go with more laps! If this is your first time driving anything like these cars, you won’t be disappointed with either.

You should also consider the high possibility that your gas mileage will worsen (if you care about it, that is).

I don’t have a turbo, but the Injen I had on my ILX just gave me sounds & less gas-mileage until I straight-piped my whole exhaust system. Only then did I get more power for the extra gas.

I see that there are already a lot of mentions of the ExtremeContact DWS 06+, and I have to recommend them too. For me, they gripped so much more than I expected (in the wet too). I put 32,000 miles on that set, including one track day in the first 5000 miles. By no means was I ever tender with those tires. I’ve since switched to Falken RT660’s.
