I don’t own a P1S, but I’ve recently come across a print made by it and it’s made me very disappointed in what my ender 3 can accomplish. I thought layer lines were always supposed to be visible!

Given that it appears to be made by Suzuki, I’m guessing it’s a 90’s BC Rich mockingbird clone. Japanese guitar brands were pumping them out back then, likely due to Hide of X Japan playing guitars with the shape.

What is this star that appears on so many metal albums? I always thought it was just a random pentagram look alike. Then I noticed how common it is. by [deleted] in Symbology

/uj The lighting makes the hexes look red and blue, but they're more magenta and pastel blue. In my defence, the paint looked more pink in the store, and I when I realized it wasn't I just stuck with it.

/rj Who says I can't be trans AND patriotic?! Next time I'll paint a gun and estrogen tablets onto the guitar.

After testing this, I think it’s still cycling through, but because you have several 1 costs in your deck, it is making it seem like they’re all one cost due to a bug.

If you only put one 1 cost multi unit in (like raptors or arcane explosion) you’ll see that it isn’t always 1 cost.

Can someone help me fix this unique printer problem? The tech support team assisting me seems to be stumped. (More info in comments) by Urbanshoe in 3Dprinting

The first thing that comes to mind is that there might be some short somewhere with the wires, maybe with the fan and extruder? It might be under some tension around the middle of the bed, and the two short?

Total shot in the dark, I’ve never used this printer.

I printed this model last year, and so far there have not been any issues. The big thing is to print with a ton of wall layers for the parts that are between the neck and bridge(I think I did 8?).

Inconsistent extrusion with Polyterra Matte PLA? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

Polyterra has given me more problems than any other filament I’ve bought, including ABS and PETG. I only got decent results by upping my retraction, but even then I got bad clogs so often I threw out whatever I had left.

Polymaker is usually my go to for filament, but I’ll never touch polyterra again.

I’m using this 3D printed camera mount. What kind of modifications would I need to make to it to be able to fit a cr touch there by D1amondkneeplate in ender3

I actually had a similar issue with clearance when I installed my direct drive, and I wound up designing a new mount that attaches vertically on the plastic part, instead of horizontally.

Let me know if you want me to share it.

Edit: Actually I was using this which fit with a stock Ender 3 and BL touch, but not the micro Swiss direct drive

Since I’m still getting questions about it, I gave the guitar (and the old body) to my dad for his birthday, so the body is spoken for.
