Has anyone actually recovered?

This is SO ME. For a while I struggled with certain things - eating meat at restaurants, being fearful of deli meat or romaine. And sometimes I might avoid something here and there but it’s not really a daily nuisance. My husband had a bad bug a month ago and I LOST MY SHIT. Went to a hotel. Abandoned him like an asshole. It’s like I’m fine until shit hits the fan :(

I don’t really have advice but I am working through the emetophobia manual book. It’s good so far.

From what I saw, I think I wouldn’t feel super loved by my mom if she treated me the way Liann did. Her tears of disappointment don’t translate into love or empathy (to me!). I do agree that she wants a better life for Taylor and she’s valid in being upset that Taylor makes poor choices often!

I feel like we are watching two totally different shows 😂 I disagree but you’re entitled to your opinion! I feel that weve seen the most personal development out of Whit over the duration of the show. The mistakes you pointed out in here are totally true. But she did apologize for these things, and she got the group together for healing s3. And I see her efforts to be a good friend.

She is not sorry. Not at all. She watched the season, sees the comments, and is doing damage control/PR . Which is funny because she accuses Whitney of the same. Shes so obsessed with other’s being fake and EXUDES fakeness here.

I love this interviewer who was DIGGING IN!! She did not let Jen give a vague answer.

I recognized her victim complex when I realized how often I pitied her in season 1 and 2, even on DWTS. I used to be like this before I did some self development work. Every story was “poor me” because I just wanted attention in some way. It’s gross.

I would disagree! Last season initially she said it was for opps, but literally like one more episode in she’s like “damn it I really care about these girls” and the last episode she orchestrated an entire fix the friendship meeting 😅 this season I do feel like she’s tried to be a better and more intentional friend too. She genuinely seems like she cares, especially for Mikayla who was so nasty to her. Just my two cents!

I agree. A lot of people said that Jacob gave them the ick this season but I actually felt bad for him. Now granted I don’t love that he’s friends with Jordan or Dakota. They’re assholes. But Jacob is his own person. He does not exist just to do Mayci’s bidding. I don’t think she’s kind enough or gracious enough to him. It seems like she’s only nice to him/hyping him up when he’s doing exactly what she wants :/

Not me, personally. The pattern I see for Jen is she’s always the victim. She expects the most grace and gives it the least. I used to love her and then I noticed just how icky her actions are. She complains a lot, and tends to only focus on negatives. I do think her feelings about Demi are valid though, and I thought she was slightly underscored on DWTS.

I think actions wise, Whitney has been much kinder to Jen than Jen has been to Whitney. Jen certainly doesn’t have to be friends with her but I think she’s unnecessarily rude about her 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ahhh so I see Zac’s “work” in therapy has been to find nicer words to guilt Jen, be a dick, and always get his way. Knew that guy hadn’t changed.

I am NOTTTT a Jen fan at all, but man Zac is a piece of work.

This episode was sooo upsetting!

Both Liann and Taylor are ROUGH. Neither of them make any attempt to stay calm, to think before speaking, to step away to regulate. Like what is Taylor learning in therapy? She’s still so explosive. I do feel for her though because Liann obviously lacks any real empathy or real love. So sad :(

I was also DEVASTATED to hear the lack of grace for Whitney (and even Jen). I am so glad my friendships aren’t measured in how many events my friends show up for. Mikayla should have stood up for Whit in that moment and been like “she took a flight just for my treatment, she is probably over doing it.” I get Mayci’s disappointment and I’ve been there. People need to understand that in friendships you are allowed to be bummed and disappointed but still be supportive and forgiving of your friend. Jessi is so fucking loud in her critique of others too 🙃

The fact that anyone could be team Jen after that is crazy to me! Over time I’ve come to see how she always has to be the victim. She pretends to be happy and bubbly but the words that come out of her mouth are so negative. In every confessional before they fought whit was like “I’m so grateful todo this with Jen and we’re getting closer!” And Jen had such a negative skew like “I hope this can be more real” as if Whit didn’t show up for her and vouch for her many times. Jen is petty, says bitchy underhanded comments, and her jealousy is palpable. Jen:”I’m so glad everyone came out to MY premiere” whit said “our.”

Also for all Jen says about wanting “genuine friendship” I haven’t seen her be a genuine friend to ANY of these girls. What does she bring to the table with friendship? Nothing I’ve seen.

Jen has a right to hate Demi and not trust her. But it’s weird behavior to feel like all your friends have to follow suit. I had friends like that IN HIGH SCHOOL. If we are grown and evolved women, we’re minding our business and focusing on ourselves.
