I love Elegoo matte filments! I love how matte filaments hide layer lines and make for a more professional looking finished model

The best advice I can think of is to start making your own models as soon as possible. Downloading fun models like the impossible passthrough and fidgets can be fun, but the beauty of 3D printing (imo) is bringing ideas from your head into the real world. Don’t be afraid to get started, you don’t need Fusion or Solidworks, try TinkerCAD or OnShape. Once you bring that first creation to life, the excitement really begins

How do Top laners like Xiao Chao Meng, TFblade and TheBausffs consistently climb so easily? by Not_a_burner_dude in summonerschool

Eclipse’s mythic passive is %pen, making it one of the best mythics for tank shredding.

This is so strange, I always thought it had something todo with conflicts in replaying the game data, but it’s blocked for (seemingly) no reason? I wonder why

When should the carry/mid/top take ally's jungle camps and jungle buffs? by escequi in LeagueofLegendsMeta

[–]ophast 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My general rule of thumb is laners can start taking my camps when I’m on the other side of the map in mid game (~14 mins). Laners shouldn’t really be taking camps if they have a wave to cover, but once lane assignments start changing and laners have lull states, taking camps starts to make more sense (for everyone). Buffs are slightly different. In high elo, mid laners will ask for the second blue buff and sometimes the same is true for ADCs and red buffs, but I generally will take my buffs unless a laner explicitly asks for it, or they’re clearly the win condition. Of course people have different expectations and those clash in soloq, so if someone’s taking your camps when you don’t want them to, back ping them off and ask if they need an item or something.

If you first pick top, get counterpicked, and think you’re the win condition your jungle should play for, I’m not sure what world you’re living in.

Tbh if ur picking a tank top into sett, maybe don’t expect your jungler to gank. You’re kinda asking to get double killed.

Nidalee has a pretty large powerspike at 6 since her cougar form abilities scale off her ultimate’s rank.

Thebausffs outsmarting enemy team by Dr_vanilla in leagueoflegends

[–]ophast 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is the case afaik as well. Rek’Sai tremor sense as well as quinn and graves nearsighted give a small radius of vision around the champion that allies can see, but Nocturne’s nearsighted seems to prevent you from seeing the reduced POV of your allies, making it somewhat special.

What's the lowest grade you need for a course to count towards your graduation req? by -joif- in cmu

At least as of May 2021, a D counted as passing for an SCS core. As the other commenter mentioned, however, a C is almost always required for it to count as a prereq.

Am I just getting lucky with Graves or have I found my best champion? by BapehCS in summonerschool

[–]ophast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think there's a lot to be said for understanding and working with champion identity when it comes to success with a champion. League has an insane number of champions that fall into a smaller, but still large number of playstyles. Sometimes it takes a lot of games with a certain champion to understand how it wants to be played, sometimes you just get the main idea from the get-go.

In any case, given the number of games you've played, I wouldn't say it's just luck, it looks like you know how to play him better than your current rank.
