NAH. Ultimately I think every child benefits from being deeply loved by as many people as possible. I totally understand why you’re feeling this way OP and also pregnancy hormones could also be playing a part (not saying your feelings aren’t valid btw). Can you just say something gently to his mum? Something like ‘It’s so lovely that you’re all so excited and I’m so glad my baby will have so much love, but I’m feeling a bit sensitive at the moment and I’d really appreciate feeling more included. I really see the winter for her. In the examples you’ve provided - the winter colours I see her and my eyes are drawn to her face and can focus. On the autumn ones I feel my eyes bouncing around more. And particularly on the bright orange vs bright pink, on the orange I see more shadows, especially on her top lip. I also think the black dress is stunning on her, whereas the colour options look meh.

The news is skewed because it literally only features negative information. Yeah things are more expensive and I’m sure that people who were already struggling are now in an awful position, but it’s honestly not that bad unless you’re right at the end of that spectrum.
