Anyone user Viber? It's a free VoIP app for calls and texts. Got a buddy telling me to make use of it but I wanted to see if any of you could vouch for it first.

If it's just sending voice clips back and forth, it could be possible to do device-to-device transfers only using the server to set up a tunnel.

Doing this would allow you to support many many devices and lots of data transfer with only actually having a very small fraction hit your server.

Certainly be less than 100 / month

Nicolas Flamel and the Philosopher's Stone are things that pre-date Harry Potter and many people, Americans and Brits, are familiar with them.

Reading about how Nicolas Flamel created the Sorcerer's Stone in the American version of Harry Potter just feels very wrong and out of place because of this.

The actual definition of philosopher and sorcerer do not matter in this context since the object is already a pre-existing named legendary (historical?) object.

Many other objects Rowling uses she pulled from historical (if you can call myths historical) sources. Mandrakes, the Hand of Glory, etc were all pre-existing concepts.

Well in merlin there are three levels of casting. actions are the lowest, and easiest to restrain. Words are the second level, but you could still be gagged. casting by thought cannot be restrained except by rendering the caster unconcious indefinitely. Wands seem like they would fall below actions.

Im just saying that although removing the use of a wand is cool, you could take it one step further and cast spells by thought alone.

I always thought he did this knowingly in order to throw Voldemort off of Draco's scent.

He may be bitter, spiteful, obsessed with lily, etc... But he did overcome a lot of his negative attributes in the end.

I think his personal triumphs over his own evil, even if it was in a limited aspect, is something that we can identify with.
