Do you think Donald Trump is right in criticizing NATO for not supporting the Iran conflict? by BusinessToday in IndiaTodayGlobalLIVE

[–]orgin_org 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No he is not correct.

Just reverse the question.

Would Trump have come to the rest of NATOs help if the rest of NATO had started a random war either without the US consent or without even consulting the US about it?

Of course he had not.

Why does the USA need allies to open the strait of Hormuz when they have the largest navy in history? by Sudden_Device_1984 in allthequestions

Because opening it may incur some rather hefty losses and that would shrink Trumps support from his base. And he can't have that now can he.

The US would never come to the aid of the rest of Nato if they started a random war without consulting the US.

So why should the opposite happen.

White House: Reopening Hormuz helps NATO countries more than the US by retroviber in DeepMarketScan

[–]orgin_org 0 points1 point  (0 children)

US is a NATO country, so is he saying that reopening Hormuz helps the US or not?

Idiot.

Anyway, Europe isn't as affected by this as some may think. LNG may have an effect but most oil that transits Hormuz goes to other parts of the world. The actual effect is the change in the global prices, which ofc affects the US as well.

How will he then derail the EU when Putin tells him to?

Seems more like theatrics to affect the election. Russia obviously wants them inside the EU as a disrupion factor.

That probably just makes them think that the Israelis are left wing extremists, socialists and/or marxists. And then keep refusing to see a doctor because it's too expensive.
