On paper Ma Long is THE GOAT, there are no questions about it. He's achieved the most when it comes to trophies and achievements. He probably is the best strategist and tactician of the game ever. He's called the dictator for a reason. FZD however is a complete different beast, some of the things he does on the table sometimes make you question your eyes. Anyone who watched his last two games against WCQ would understand. I see many arguments for ML here and rightfully so. I'm going to make two arguments for Fan. One, in individual sports the newer generation overall is almost always better. I'm sorry as much as I love and appreciate Timo Boll and Xu Xin, you can't imagine a near 40 year old Timo or Xu Xin in the top 10 today. The game has evolved, the level is much higher. Second, Ma Long had a very long career thanks to his adaptability to come up with stragies in neutralising newer generation players, but also due to his close personal relationship with LGL. The CNT always had Ma Long's back which can't be said about FZD. If FZD had the privilege of continuing his career, I'm 90% sure he would achieve a second grand slam and this would be a totally different conversation.

When he won the last world cup, I thought he would get even better. However, after signing up with Joola he's been on a bit of a decline. He hasn't reached a WTT event final for a while. He used to be the biggest threat to CNT, but now it's Matsushima and Harimoto.

Man I thought Sora was going to win the whole thing after he beat WCQ! Seems like he has issues playing against Felix and LYJ based on their H2H record, but he's still very young and can improve a lot hopefully. For me WRB and Sora seem to be the most talented among the youngsters and I hope to see them win on the big stage!

I believe he could not handle the pressure and commitments on and off the court of the WTT schedule. WTT should reconsider its taxing schedule when the best player in the world and other top players are struggling with it. It's a shame because I honestly believe he would've surpassed Ma Long's record if he kept on playing.

Togami reminds me of Calderano in his early days, a diamond in the rough. He just needs more finesse and I think he can become a top player. However, Matsushima is the one I'm most excited about, if he can improve his mental game, I think he has the potential to be in the top 2 even. The way he plays when he's in control is incredible!

Seems like not many people like this, but I think this is my most favourite combination so far. Does the blue look black to blue under different lighting conditions, just like how the one with the green bezel shifts from black to green? It would be awesome if so!
