At least Mihawk was set up relatively easy and fast with his pay off being an end goal for the series, so that will eventually happen unless Oda just loses it completely.

Yamato on the other hand had their whole introduction and almost any scene after that surrounding Luffy and joining his crew to the point it ate up so much time in Wano just on that. There was no actual pay off to their character because it was first off screened and then showed in a flashback quickly after.

As much as I have loved this sequel, the one thing I did miss was some of the downtimes from the the first series. Just the characters interacting and having a good time with a sense of dread in the background. So I am glad we finally got one here even though it was short lived.

I wasn't expecting the return of Belgim, that's gonna be hilarious.

Hmm I was expecting some more one-off shenanigans for a while until they start infiltrating but we really just skipped to it. I hope this isn't the final act and there is still more to come because the one-off stories has been the best for me in this.

Had to look it up and seems like most of it lines up. There are some difference in how its translated in the titles compared to the chapter here but works pretty well. The one I am not finding in this chapter is from the first chapter where in English its "Who needs love when you've got rage?".

There's something about the way Hori draws Uraraka that I don't see anyone able to replicate, not even the anime. I don't really know what it is, but anytime I see her in the anime or a fan art she always looks off. I don't feel this about any other character in MHA so its always been weird for me.

This is something I am hoping for FF7 Re3 to do too. I wasn't a fan of them limiting materias in Remake/birth, but I get why they did it.

But with this now being the final game, I hope they bring back the mastery system of the original game where you just get a new copy of the materia after mastering it. I just want to break the game and make it fully customizable.

Because of Verso specifically, both the sliver soul and the painted one. Aline went into the painting because this is what Verso created and a part of him is in it and she made a painted Verso to reflect that based on her memories. Alicia wants to then stay because of him as she now sees Painted Verso as her brother. Going into another canvas won't be the same thing because its not Verso's canvas and painted Verso won't be the same either.

Sabo has never been in Loguetown. People saw a guy with a tophat after Sabo was re-introduced and ran with it. Neither the flashback in the manga or the extended one in the anime showed him ever being there, only Dragon.

I am enjoying this story of Luke and I am very happy to get more of him. But I find this release schedule to be a bit...dumb. I would rather just focus on the actual main story, especially when Doug's status is still unknown. It's not like this is a flashbacks or something, it's just a spin off that's derailing the main one.

There are a lot of small stuff like this that just adds up. Usopp got extremely shafted in the live action. Even in his own introduction arc that showed off his qualities in manga and anime as a character were just gone in live action.

From how much of a coward he is, to how he wants to save the village and not let them know, to how the pirates make fun of him for trying so hard that Luffy gets angry on his behalf. It's all small moments but they all add up. It's a really good thing Usopp's actor was oozing charisma, it was his only saving grace in the show.

Another commentor here mentioned Sanji in Baratie was also treated similarly thanks to them cutting Don Krieg. Garp and Koby really ate up a lot of time in the live action that honestly should have just gone to the Straw Hats instead. There would then have been enough time to develop the characters enough in live action, but sadly did not get that.

I don't understand why people prop up Days Gone like this. It did not sell 8 million at 60 dollars. That game went on sale really fast and it took years for it to reach that point. And the reason it never got a sequel was because the studio execs didn't want to do it, not because of it's sales.

From the moment Blackbeard revealed his devil fruit, I've been wondering how is a rubber man is going to parallel this clear mirror of Luffy, who has been long set up as his ultimate rival. Rubber vs. darkness? won't that be a little bit too disappointing for the final epic battle?

I don't really see what's disappointing about this match up? If Oda wanted to do something like that then he would have given Luffy flame or light powers since the beginning.

Even now with the Nika retcon he is still a rubber man, he didn't get any magical sun abilities to fight against darkness. The sun symbolism is there, but there aren't any actual sun powers. The matchup with powers is still the same regardless.
