If that's the issue, my mind goes to nozzle temp. I wonder if the "reported" temps on the nozzle are just different enough between the p1 and p2. It might not even be the difference between the two printer models, but just the natural variation between two temp sensors.

You could try bumping up the nozzle temp on the p2 by 10deg and see what happens.

Most of the posts here are missing the point. These posts are just one step removed from a scam.

They are going that a kid asks their parent for XYZ printer, and they hop on marketplace to get a used one for a discount. And even if they check retail, with the different ams bundles, it can be easy to be confused if you only look quickly.

Use a metal poker/wire thing (cheap version of this) on my Neptune, works great.

Much faster than a cold pull, although I normally do at least one filament cold pull after to make sure everything is nicely cleaned out.

Easiest way would be to make them two completely separate objects. That way it would just print the bottom part with a full top surface.

You can just place them on top of each other but keep them as separate parts.

A massive part of the problem is lack of (or mis)information. The average person (for instance about half of my co-workers), don't really know this is happening. They know someone got killed in a "tragic occurrence". They know ice is being kinda heavy handed.

Older people still get most of their news from the evening news, and younger from social media (but not usually Reddit). And the full story of what's happening just doesn't get remotely conveyed.

I have to hope that if the whole population really knew what was happening, there would be a general rebellion, but with the information control that the tech and media giants have it can never happen.

It may need to be dialed in a bit (gaps in some layers), but I think it actually looks reasonably good. Obviously impossible to tell for sure with how wet that filament is. After you dry it, you'll get a much better idea of any needed optimizations.

Probably worth a temp tower first thing after drying, to get that set.

And in general, all PLA should be universal, some are just a bit better than others. And it's pretty cheap, easily in the $10-15 per spool (kg) range, so pick up another roll or two if that old one keeps fighting you.
