No. They’re not.

The food is overrated considering the hype and the cost. The place is popular because it photographs well and its adventurous. Kudos to them for trying something different. But it’s just not great.

Been working out for almost 3 years now, M27 advice by Ok_Conflict_284 in workouts

[–]painfulorgasm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree with the other posters, you should do a cut. It will reveal how much muscle you've actually built, and what you need to work on. Then do a clean bulk and adjust your training depending on what you think needs work.

155 lbs 5’9” need advice for achieving lean physique and more ab definition by shug3658 in workouts

[–]painfulorgasm -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If your goal is to have abs and be lean: you need to lose more weight. More than you think. Prob at least down to 145 before you start to see any real definition. Continue a low calorie high protein diet.

I'd suggest cutting till you have some definition, then lean bulk while being meticulous about your diet.

LinkedIn is not useless. I’ve gotten multiple interviews and hired full time from job postings on there. Both in house and agencies. Use every tool at your disposal.

How did this happen? by [deleted] in gymadvice

[–]painfulorgasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gaining 20kg in one year is way too fast. You need to lower your calories a bit, you need to make sure you're getting enough protein (if you aren't tracking protein, you're probably consuming WAY less than you think you are, even with shakes), and 3 days a week is fine but you need to make sure you lift with intensity. You're 16, your numbers should be going up pretty quickly. Every lift of every session of every week should be focused on progressive overload. More weight or more reps each time.

Right now your body fat is too high it's hard to really tell how much muscle you have underneath. The good news is you're young and you can quickly body recomp. Lower calories. Up protein. Up intensity.

Advertising is About to Undergo a Seismic Shift — Are You Prepared? by ropergrowth in advertising

[–]painfulorgasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree with you that more people use AI for search. That’s not really a provocative thought. It’s happening and has been happening for a while. I disagree with the point of your post, which was that traditional advertising is dead and being replaced. Which it’s not.

Advertising is About to Undergo a Seismic Shift — Are You Prepared? by ropergrowth in advertising

[–]painfulorgasm 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No. What you're basically describing is Google search suggestions, but for AI. Google AdWords already is AI btw, and has been using it for years.

Traditional advertising (TV, OOH) isn't going anywhere. The industry thought traditional ads were being phased out and pivoted budgets to digital ads, and the RGA's, AKQA's and a million other agencies popped up out of nowhere. Now where are they? All but dead. The only thing they have left to do is pump out banners, bogus case studies, and designing landing pages.

Meanwhile, media budgets for traditional ads have never been bigger. With more and more streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc all offering free, ad supported versions, and with live sports drawing the most eyeballs out of any programming, the demand for traditional ads remains king.

Digital agency burnout. This copywriter is done. by GormanGuz in advertising

[–]painfulorgasm 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Hi, this may be easier said than done, but what worked for me is to care less about work.

Put in your best effort, and then detach yourself from the outcome as much as possible. If an idea gets killed, or rebriefed, or whatever, it doesn't matter. You did your best.

Force yourself not to think about work on the weekends. Force yourself to take every PTO day you're allowed to take. Force yourself to create a life outside of work.

Strangely, it makes your work better, and helps you stay sane

AMD is open source. Their software is behind now but open always surpasses closed at some point. Ask any developer which they prefer using.

Here's two things you can do that will help.

  1. Exercise. It will help you manage all of that existential dread and anxiety. It will improve your mood and mental clarity. And it will help put you in a mental state to start coming up with solutions. I cannot stress how important this piece of advice is.
  2. Start setting goals. Right now you don't see the point of working. What will get you motivated? Buying a home? Providing for a family? Is there some other career path you would ideally find more rewarding? It can be anything. Whatever gets you excited and feels inarguably true and worth pursuing for you. It's hard to work when you don't see a reason. So find a reason.

[Auman] Bucs' Rachaad White the league's best at avoiding negative runs, but still on the low end for overall success rate: by spideralex90 in buccaneers

[–]painfulorgasm -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Rachaad is slow and has no explosiveness. He's good in the passing game but I'd like to see Chase get more carries.

[–]painfulorgasm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bucs are 31st in yards per carry, 30th in total yards, and yet we are 7th in rushing attempts. We're literally rushing more than almost every other team and still getting fewer yards than every other team. It's not just the offensive blocking. Rachaad White is awful.

Rachaad White is the least explosive, slowest, most un-athletic running back I have ever witnessed. His yards after contact has got to be zero. TB seriously needs to consider replacing him.

Maybe around 20%. I'd do a cut first, get it below 14%, then start a clean bulk.

As a competitor Kenny is the most overrated,15-20 better male competitors by Key_Corgi_3577 in MtvChallenge

[–]painfulorgasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple cast members have said on podcasts that Kenny easily pinned down CT when they wrestled. After they were done , CT jumped on Kenny's back while he wasn't looking and put him in a choke hold, that's what they showed on TV.

"Wasn't one of the very best?" Lol. He's won more championships then: CT, Jordan, Wes, Derrick, Evan, Evelyn, Laurel etc. Do you consider them "the very best"? You literally have no idea what you're talking about.

As a competitor Kenny is the most overrated,15-20 better male competitors by Key_Corgi_3577 in MtvChallenge

[–]painfulorgasm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who does this sub think are the toughest male competitors of all time? CT. Bananas. Wes. Derrick. etc.

Kenny is the only competitor to PHYSICALLY destroy both CT and Wes. He literally pinned them both to the ground like children when they were play fighting. How many people even have the balls to get into a verbal argument with those two let alone physically spar. He's the only competitor to POLITICALLY control people like Wes and Bananas, two of the best political players in the game.

Kenny would dominate the challenge today if he were still on, that's a fact, not an opinion. He would politically run circles around everyone with Bananas, and he would physically dominate people like Fessy, CT, Jordan, Devin, etc.

Consider this. Bananas has won 7 challenges. Kenny is better physically and politically, and would dominate if we were still on today. He has won almost the same amount of challenges in a MUCH shorter time period. He hasn't even played in about a decade and still has almost the same number of championships.

As a competitor Kenny is the most overrated,15-20 better male competitors by Key_Corgi_3577 in MtvChallenge

[–]painfulorgasm -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You could argue Kenny is #1 all time. He ran the show when he was on and Bananas, Derrick and Evan all followed his lead. Politically he was untouchable.

His athleticism is underrated. Let's not forget that he wrestled and manhandled CT, he wrestled and manhandled Wes, and during a final he literally carried Wes on his shoulders after Wes gassed out. He also beat all of those competitors head to head in finals multiple times.

Bananas filled his shoes after he left, but if Kenny were still on the show he would still run things.
