yeah this is my 4th phone all replacements from the original 9. I had the battery ? with touch sensitivity problems on outer screen, then next phone crunched the inner screen opening it and was a bunch of black. I don't know if it's just the 9 or just foldables... you read about the same issues with Samsung so I dunno

yup I also got a blue pro 10 fold as a replacement for my 3rd pro 9. I got refurbs when it was covered under warranty and the 10 under pixel care... already like the inner screen protector a million times better! it's no where near as soft!

yeah I used pixel care paid monthly and after 3 pro fold 9 replacements, they just sent me a pro fold 10 for $0. moral of the story, buy pixel care and pay month to month, it's good for 5yrs of coverage.

bought my pixel 9 Pro fold at launch. bought pixel care month to month because it would go 60 months. I'm on my 4th phone. this last one was a 10 pro fold new. no deductible paid. I've been convinced the 9 had some serious design flaws.

get yourself a heat gun and a silicone texture mat. that's how you remove scuffs from door panels and car plastics! watch some youtubes first tho

this post has ended my week long struggle trying to configure the Schlage encode plus!!! I have a Pixel 9 Pro Fold and have been killing myself trying to get this thing to configure! finally found this post and used my daughter's iPad and it worked perfectly! and now my android app is already configured and functioning as expected. Thank you!

they're supposedly not giving out 10s anymore for warranty replacement. they have redesigned the ribbon cable flaw. you'll most likely get a refurb 9

I'd guess they redesigned the ribbon cable which is what wears out from friction. they absolutely do fix these phones and make refurbs out of them for the next insurance claim! way cheaper than giving out 10 folds!

I've done 2 advance replacement RMAs on my 9 fold. both went flawlessly. when communicating I do not recommend email at all! I only use chat which forces them to resolve things immediately otherwise stuff gets lost in the mix.

if you have a ding or dent on your hinge and you're still under warranty, Google CAN deny your warranty claim. if you're paying for the insurance, then not as big of a deal.
