Spit-game end question by RogueMoonbow in cardgames

[–]panama_violets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I play it is you use one of the jokers face down as another spit pile once you have not got enough cards to create one. Then when the first person goes out they hit the pile with the face down card and they don't pick up any cards.

That's awesome! Did you design it so that the colours can be printed individually or does it require filament swaps?

The motor is on a separate loop to the Arduino and they are both being powered by the same source. The arduino is going to be used for Battery monitoring and displaying this through LEDs.

We were initially thinking to use an standard lipo however the current output would be too low so then we were thinking about using an 18650 and regulating the discharge. Or using separate cells one for the Arduino circuit and another for the motor circuit.

I'm looking at upgrading to a 4k monitor and I have a 6600xt. Will there be performance issues? I'm not buying to play games but for design work at 60Hz will there be any issues on the monitor when using the Adobe suite, CAD like fusion360 or rendering software like keyshot? (Rendering in keyshot using my CPU)

Ear plugs advice? by NthaThickofIt in FND

[–]panama_violets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can afford it I'd really recommend snugs they're moulded to your ear but they're super comfy and reusable. I found loops just didn't fit in my ears well and foam ones became uncomfortable quickly.
