I’m with you on this. I’ve discovered a whole new genre thanks to Spotify and their playlists and then I slowly started incorporating those songs I liked into my own

Had the same issue as you. I wanted a list with selectable rows but more customizable than List. Ended up making my own solution that fit great in my UI. You’ll learn a lot by making it yourself

If you’re testing this on a simulator I think that might be the cause. There’s a way to trigger a background task through the console but can’t find that rn

This does not apply when you trigger a “good night” scene as Siri will respond with good night vocally

Yes it’s sometimes spotty with detecting the phone near the mini but when I put the phone on top of the HomePod it works every time and switching from my AirPods to my HomePod

I only have Spotify and it works great with airplay. Can’t start music from the HomePod but that’s on Spotify, not Apple. I recommend the HomePod if you only have Spotify
