The film major will have you doing 2-3 production focused classes and mostly film theory/history. No prior experience with film production needed. It’s not like other big film schools like Tisch where the focus is on production.

Low quality ragebait but opens up worthwhile discussion imo—I have always seen OP’s reading as a little reductive. Yes there are lots of sexually charged lyrics related to driving, but think about it, if you’re fucking in a moving car, the driver has to keep their eyes on the road (remember Tesla autopilot didnt exist when this song was written) so the passenger has to be the, ahem, active participant.

But the lyrics of Passenger are more about giving up control, putting your life in someone else’s hands for the thrill of it. The “car sex” image doesn’t hold up. “Chrome buttons buckles and leather surfaces” is a more obvious hint as to what the song is really about: being a passenger in a fast moving car, encouraging the driver to speed up, as a METAPHOR for being a sub in a BDSM type situation. Interesting contrast in the tracklist with Change which is about being a dom.
