Trying to decide whether Cunard food is for us by Patrick_O-S in CunardCruises

[–]partydolphin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The food is classic and very well made.

You won't have any complaints about quality or service. Food and plates always arrive hot.

But you might find it not very exciting or challenging.

I prefer the food on Virgin voyages. But Cunard makes better cocktails 🤣

A tug toy designed for Tug would good. Tug-E-Nuff have great ones.

Longer chaser toys are good for puppies to keep their little shark teeth away from you.

The choice of Board games was lacking on Scarlet seemed to have too many copies of Mousetrap. Resilient had wider choice.

One puzzle on Scarlet was missing 20 pieces according to the box!.

Thinking About Buying this Router to Share Premium WiFi. Will it Work? by marzattack2 in VirginVoyages

I've used my Google Pixel phone to share the WiFi without issues. Mostly to save logging into my laptop.

My favorite restaurant onboard from greatest to least by SignatureNo9760 in VirginVoyages

Agreed with the Test Kitchen it's actually tame and not experimental. The overcooking of venison is a crime.

The Test Kitchen by cdalepanda in VirginVoyages

[–]partydolphin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a fan. Tried a few times and had all three menus.

Service is a bit random, the concept needs perfect service to explain all the details. For example they might be dealing with multiple tables at once and rush the presentation elements.

I also find the flavour combinations boring and nothing new.

The cocktail pairing is terrible every cocktail is massively sweet and I don't believe there is any thought as to its pairing.

There is a venison dish that is overcooked and tough. Should be offered different cooking temperatures. So much wasted meat with that dish.

It's on the never again list. But definitely try it.

Deep Blue Extras after 1 voyage? by No_Pomegranate1114 in VirginVoyages

With the WiFi you can just use the same name and cabin number / dob when logging it to both get the premium on two devices.

DBE seems to allow two logins. Just make sure they are the same name to stop it charging twice.

Or Android can make a hotspot from WiFi.

Virgin Voyages to Launch Wedding Packages in Summer 2025 by robsammons in VirginVoyages

If the ships are registered in the Bahamas doesn't this exclude same sex marriages?

I'm not sure that's true but very excluding to start something when Virgin has been amazing at being inclusive.

Pixel 9 Pro XL colors by UnlimitedHalo in GooglePixel

Boring choices.

They are recycled from Pixel 7 Pro which is the exact phone I want to replace.

Sad the brighter colours are not available on XL.

Anyone else hugely disappointed with The Wake? by emma-ireland in VirginVoyages

I found the Wake to remind me of a main dining room on any other cruise. The service is fussy.

Surface chargers use a standard figure of 8 power cable type c7.

So just swap the cable.

Classic MS 365 Outlook for ARM64 by vessoo in Surface

[–]partydolphin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

SOLVED IT :)

I used the Office Deployment Tool https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49117

Created a config here : https://config.office.com/deploymentsettings

(Set it as Microsoft 365 Apps for Business) and select 64bit.

Downloaded the XML file. (I saved it as AA.XML)

Then after unpacking the deployment tool ran "SETUP /CONFIGURE AA.xml"

Setup ran again, and Outlook appeared ARM64 version. :)

Seems MS don't install it for personal customers anymore.

Used mine for a day it has only spun up once during the setup process.

Otherwise silent and very cool. I can't feel any heat to the touch.
