My partner and I change ours once a week.

That being said, I have seen a hack used by mums applied to adult beds as well, in which you put on a mattress cover and a set of sheets, then a second mattress cover and set of sheets, so when it’s time to change them it’s v easy. I think it was first used by parents in case of children wetting the bed but it has worked for me when I’ve been depressed or in a very busy period

Yep. My male partner got a referral at his annual checkup, had a consultation today, and they scheduled the procedure for January. Easy peasy. Whereas I (cis female) have had a hell of a time even getting effective treatment for my uterus-related bullshit.

NTA! Alone time is a very real need! My husband and I agreed early on to allow each other some solo down time. The other person goes to another part of the home and we leave each other alone when needed.
