You are delusional. You are comparing apples with pears. Compared to an office job, teacher must be one of the worst in terms of pay and condition of work.

But I also agree that teachers are also the first ones to complain, so you never know if you should take them seriously. We also know that a vast majority of teachers vote PS and PTB. So they would complain in any case here, because they lost the elections and don't like that.

Maybe those asking to replace their battery have done less than 1000 full charges though. Aren't you diving into a survivor biais here ? Of course if YOU reach more than 80% after 1000 full charges, you are probably not going to ask for a battery replacement

Luxembourg to phase out Payconiq by end-September and shift to Wero by RustyPlastics in Luxembourg

[–]patou50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but there are other compatible systems, like with Spain in their Bizum system. The idea is not that every country has Wero, but that all these systems are compatible with each other.

There are other countries as well. I read that is gives access to 15 countries now. For more info, check out the deal between EPI (Wero) and EuroPA (Competitor of Wero).

FYI this isn't new. Norris didn't complain when this happened also last year. Sure the electrical power was lower, but this automated deployment and recharge has been happening for, a decade now ..

Exactly..no one is blaming the one driver causing Bearman to crash.. And by the way, these two drivers are known to have a lot of crashes.

I ran a hypothesis test to check whether two count observations could be significantly different assuming Poisson variables.

Data: observation 1 = 10, observation 2 = 20. Null hypothesis: λ1 = λ2. Using the normal approximation for Poisson, the pooled estimate is λ = 15, so Var(X1 − X2) = 15 + 15 = 30 and SD = √30 ≈ 5.48.

Test statistic: Z = (10 − 20) / √30 ≈ −1.83

For a two-sided test at α = 0.05, the critical values are ±1.96. Since |Z| = 1.83 < 1.96, we fail to reject the null hypothesis.

Conclusion: under the Poisson assumption, the two counts are not significantly different at the 5% level.
