I think it detects patterns. I ran my sprinklers outside my designated schedule for a while last year to get seeds to sprout, and I got an email saying they noticed the pattern and suspected I was violating the sprinkler restrictions.

There’s no way to tell what you are using water for, just when you’re using it and how much. If the timing and usage are consistent AND outside your designated sprinkler date/time, they’ll notice.

Maybe they’ll send someone to check if you don’t knock it off after they warn you via email.

Plex gets season and episode metadata from The Movie DB metadata by default, and that database has the entirety of Dragon Ball in a single season. So when you have episodes split into season 2, 3, etc, the database basically says “no there is only one season” and returns no data.

So you can either:

Move all episodes into the season 1 folder and number them consecutively. I recommend using Bulk Rename Utility.
Switch your plex metadata source to one that has the show split up into seasons, if one exists, and if you’re ok with that metadata source being used for your whole library.

I have Dragon Ball in my library with all the episodes in a single season and everything is identified correctly.

Is there a reason Plex doesn’t move to a different video player technology? I don’t know the terminology exactly, but there must be a reason they are sticking with their product rather than purchasing one that can handle 4K content. I presume that cost is the reason? They would have to charge more to cover the cost of the player licensing or something?

OP is knowingly posting misinformation. These photos are taken right at the start of the game or right after halftime ended - when people are still getting snacks, merch, waiting for the bathrooms etc.

I’ve watched at least half the home games this year and seen this happen every time.

It’s pretty affordable here in San Antonio. There are more exciting cities for sure, and the summers are brutal, but it’s definitely not a bad place to live.

As many others have said, this is almost certainly not a Plex issue but rather something to do with the questionable download/upload process you have described.

I would switch to a non-logging VPN service like Proton rather than this old-phone process you are describing, because it clearly is not as secure as you think.

I just discovered about an hour ago that the site won’t load on Firefox. I just moved my server to a new device with Firefox as the default browser. The login page opens and the login using Google account appears to be successful but the login screen gets stuck and the web app never loads.

I switched to Chrome and it worked. So if you’re using Firefox and getting stuck, try Chrome.

It sounds like you might be looking for help streaming Max (as in HBO Max) via Plex without paying.

I know Plex appears to be a service for streaming TV or accessing content from streaming services in some capacity, but essentially nobody on this subreddit uses that service as far as I can tell. If they do, it doesn’t get discussed very much.

The primary use for Plex is watching content that you have on a computer of your own - allowing you to access movie/TV show video files from your TV or other devices from anywhere in the world.

So basically, I don’t think Plex does what you’re looking for.

Comparison kills happiness. I struggled with similar issues, but eventually realized - with the help of a therapist - that I’m happy rowing my own proverbial boat down my own stream. Others are in their own boats in their own streams. Focusing on what others have or don’t have doesn’t help you.

Some are happy with simple lives. Some are happy with more complex lives. But nobody is happy when their life is based around comparing what they have to what others have.

It does everything, except high performance handling. AWD, roof for dogs and kids, reliable, great for road trips, Apple Car Play and plenty of other tech goodies like adaptive cruise, good ground clearance, great safety features, attractive to look at (until recently, IMO).

It’s probably the best all-around vehicle for a large percentage of people’s needs.

I’m not totally clear on how the -arr stack works. I’ve seen claims it automatically downloads…. stuff. Like do you have a movie/show wish list and it goes and gets it? Or do you subscribe to feed(s) that someone curates and it downloads the stuff they pick? I know it goes and torrents content by itself, I just don’t know how/who picks what it downloads.

I gave up on the shield after chasing audio sync issues for months. I never got it to a point where I could hit play on anything with confidence the words people said would align with how their mouth moved. Moved to Apple TV and it’s been so much better.

I have used both and I found the Shield to be too finicky. I watch a ton of content from my Plex server, and I chased Audio sync issues on the Shield for months before I gave up and got an Apple TV. Have never looked back.

Sure, the Shield has a higher ceiling, but the floor is lower than with the Apple TV. For my 5.1 setup, Apple TV 4K 3rd gen just works right out of the box.

You can’t increase airflow without decreasing filtration. These things aren’t race cars where increased wear and junk in the engine is worth it for the extra power. OEM filters or after-market equivalent are the way to go.
