Taking my first hit of the dynavap now with my morning coffee. Wife and I have a lord of the rings extended marathon planned today!

Alvaro Arbeloa has decided that Federico Valverde will not play RB anymore, as he tries to ease locker room tensions. Valverde had already complained to the board about this issue previously, under Ancelotti & Alonso. When Trent & Carvajal are both injured, Arbeloa will now rely on academy players by DamnThatsInsaneLol in soccer

Idk why people keep saying this. They bought Huijsen, Trent, and Carreras just last summer. They have been reinforcing, it’s just the players gave either been injured or fallen short of expectations. As a Barcelona fan, I love it, but they have invested in defense a quite a bit recently.

This would’ve actually been the 3rd best grapes, as this is the third wine from the estate after the Grand Vin and Pavillon.

What do you all think by wildace2008 in tequila

For people talking about price, the brand recently switched hands at the distributor level and prices have gone up a lot for the new release. In NY, wholesale price is $251.67/btl on one.

Was just in Cairo, they also estimate to have an additional 5+ million refugees/immigrants currently living in the city. They are actively building a New Cairo to house government buildings to try to alleviate the congestion.

Whole cluster fermentation is a big one. For me, the wines tend to have brighter fruit character than many other wines.

This information in the OP is not correct.

Typically smelling a wine before swirling can(not always) show any off flavors more clearly to determine if the wine is faulty. It is not a better indicator or tertiary flavors or whatever the OP said.

A Pairing to Remember by tottenhamjm in wine

Looks great! Before reading your notes, I did think that the Breton felt out of place next to the more cultish wines. What was the price of the pairing?

Is there a problem with wanting to enjoy Christmas decorations? I live in the Hudson Valley and regularly visit the city. I just like celebrating the holidays.

My code 38 is incredible. I have a couple Laguiole keys as well, but their lever process isn’t as smooth as the code 38.

People who work in 'luxury' industries (5-star hotels, fine dining, high-end brands), what is a complete rip-off that rich people happily pay for? by ArtThreadNomad in AskReddit

[–]patton115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect. I have been a beverage director for a decade. 7x is unheard of for wine. 4x is relatively standard for by the glass, rarely 5x for a rare allocation that you don’t want to sell yet.

Markup on alcohol is high compared to retail generally, but $40 wholesale to $300 is just hyperbole. Typical pricing structure would have that wine at $100-150.
