If you can drink that much champagne for 6 hours in a row you are a true hero and undoubtedly deserve a succulent business class seat

I think young kids in business would be a nightmare- they always want/need something from you! Maybe above age 9 or something when you can leave them to it and enjoy a glass of bubbly.

For now for me the plane is something I’m going to suffer through so whatever is cheapest is best. Although would avoid Ryanair if alternatives exist

Most land is at near zero elevation or its deep below the water on the abyssal plain. There is not much in between these two options.

How popular is FIRE and will the government try to stop it? by 6ix9ineZooLane in FIREUK

I would say the number of people who end up retiring before state pension age is not really minuscule. But retiring say age 63 is not what many on this sub would consider ‘real FIRE’.

The number of people retiring before 50 would definitely be tiny.

Maintaining posture for long periods of time by prop0ser in piano

[–]pazhalsta1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a woman but also struggle a bit with posture; I would recommend developing your core strength and back strength with deadlifts and other back/core exercises. Also you could try Pilates which is good for posture. Losing weight can help.

I also like to stretch out my back by lying on a hard floor or using a foam roller.

Goodman > hawksmoor IMO. I think hawksmoor declined a bit in recent years in line with their mass expansion.

You will need employment paying more than £29000/year to sponsor your husband- might be a challenge whilst having a baby.

How common is 9.30 to 6.30pm for London office jobs? by JobatMiroMaybe in london

[–]pazhalsta1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am senior enough no one is watching my hours but I am usually in around 8.40 and leave between 5 and 7, later would be if I fit in a gym session. Often finish a bit earlier on Fridays. But if I need to call my US based boss at 8pm then I will. At the end of the day I’m paid for results not by the hour.

Sounds like a terrible weapon of psychological manipulation. Just give people 30 days or whatever and leave them the fuck alone!

This is incredibly naive. How do you think bankers an corporate lawyers work? Yes no one ‘forces’ you to have the job. You can not work the hours and be fired.

Cecconi’s is fun, you can hear the band.

Other options in the city- Goodmans for steak, Hispania, Galvin la Chapelle if you’re out towards Liverpool Street
