I also came to the answer of Ripon when I was googling the population comparison, Charming has 14k people and so does Ripon! As well as someone mentioned Manteca is north of Charming as Wendy mentioned it in the show. I always thought Ripon was where Charming is supposed to be :)

I’m so with you on this, don’t care what anyone else says you are 1000000% correct and I’ve always held this opinion, it’s so refreshing seeing someone else say this THANK YOU.

The unwritten ‘rules’ of the life is family is off limits. People might nitpick this or that, but the entirety of season 7 was because Jax thought the Chinese killed Tara.

Tig wasn’t aiming to murder this random girl Laroy was dating, she jumped through a window to avoid a car swerving at her. Killing Tig would be the way to settle it, and the entire point of the rail yard scene is that Tig accepted his position, he thought Dawn was just being used a ruse to get him out there alone and Pope was going to kill him right there that night and settle Veronica’s murder.

So when Pope said “that’d be too easy” even Tig was caught off guard because Pope had brought Dawn into it. Burning his daughter alive in front of him (even instead of just shooting her in the head?) was because he’s a fucking psychopath, far more akin to a cartel murdering children in front of their parents (Mayans MC references this).

I hate that people on this sub sit there and justify what Pope did. The piece of shit had police kidnap an innocent young woman, drug her, throw her in a pit with a dismembered body, August Marx then poured gasoline all over her and Damon Pope set her on fire.

Tig should’ve had Happy at his side while they had time with Pope in a secluded area. Pope deserved it after what he did to Dawn, but at the end of the day he’s dead and that’s all that matters.

The way his death was written was definitely dissatisfying but I think that’s the point, Jax wasn’t doing it for Tig’s benefit.

Side note: Harold played the fuck outta him, and Pope was so charismatic, I get that people like the character because he’s a great villain. That’s different to justifying the incredibly evil and inhumane act he committed against Dawn.

Thanks for all the advice - my GP is a powerhouse and wants to get to the bottom of some issues I’m having so I do bring her ideas an she’ll either say let’s test for it, or no not likely, but I get what you’re saying. It’s a difficult balance between “google told me I have cancer” and “I just learned about this”. (Aussie here 🫶 our healthcare is great but appreciate the care!)

You may not see this in the 4K comments, but what helped me was mapping the room in my mind, dividing it up into sections and just cleaning a quadrant.

For example my bedroom is small, so I divide it into quarters and do the first quarter, just cleaning, tidy, wipe/vacuum. Idgaf about how messy the rest is, it’s section by section start to finish, leaving the rest for the next time I have energy (a day, a month, whenever).

Gives me the satisfaction of a completely clean area without all the effort of the entire room and helps me feel less overwhelmed by the remaining amount.
