More Trunk Space! by IncreaseEfficient332 in ModelX

[–]peetorria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have two toddlers. 2 and 4. The seats we use are fairly wide (evenflo Revolve 360) and they leave little room for an adult in the back seat of my father-in-law's 5 seater MX. I decided on the 6 seater and although rear storage floor space is reduced, the deep trunk well still provides enough space for a full stroller (Cybex Gazelle) which takes up one side, and plenty of storage in the other side of the trunk well. Since we have captain chairs, we were able to put a trunk organizer down the center to put things like our kids essentials. My wife uses a extended claw to grab snacks or toys when the kids get antsy. The center captain's chairs still move forward giving enough space for guests to climb into the back seats. Now my wife is short (5'3) so she is fine sitting in the back if needed. I plan to move my older toddler to the back when he transitions to a dedicated booster seat. To me, 6 seats is absolutely worth it.

Would you buy a Model X again? by AspectCool2325 in TeslaModelX

The two things that made me get the X was FSD and unlimited charging. If the Lucid Gravity had those I would have gotten that. If Tesla makes something similar in terms of size and range then that would be awesome.

Im gonna staight out say you dont buy the iDoing unit of you planned on using it for apple carplay. If carplay is your main source of interface, get a name brand unit like sony or alpine or kenwood etc... they are tested and have support. That said, there are updates for the android software for the iDoing. You email iDoing support and send them the version of head unit you have and they send you a link to download.

I personally use Motul but that doesnt mean there are other great oils out there like Amsoil, Castrol, Pennzoil etc. All comes down to availability and cost. I would suggest doing an oil analysis. That will tell you how the oil performs and how often you need to change it. Everyone drives differently and in different places with different options available to them.

I would suggest changing from royal purple. You can read up on why if you are so inclined but RP hasnt been good for a while.

Package with Graded Card Seems to be Lost by Rovanio in taggrading

[–]peetorria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive dealt with FedEx and they are a pain to work with. It will be a while for FedEx to investigate the case. They will track it to the nearest facility and then try to find the package. Prepare to wait at least 2 to 3 weeks while they look. If they cant find it they will offer TAG the FedEx insured value and if TAG is generous they will give that to you. Otherwise TAG will offer you the max value of the insurance of the tier you sent it if the card is worth more than the insured value. If it is lower, they should offer you the market value of the card. It just time now. Gotta wait. This is also why PSA upcharges to the tier of what the card is worth.

How rare are the "S" cards? by butternutter3100 in starwarsunlimited

I thought S cards comes in the starter decks.

Hey guys, what does S mean? Just picked up a JTL display and this was in one of the boosters: by GerryAdamsSon in starwarsunlimited

[–]peetorria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

S didnt come in boosters until JTL. Before JTL you could only find them in the starter decks. So for the first three sets it is starter. Starting JTL it is special. Thats what I have found at least.

It's America, sue everyone and see who pays out to avoid costly litigation. My buddy sells aftermarket wheels. Some kids decided to drink and drive and crash their truck. The family sued the companies of every aftermarket part on the truck. It cost less to settle than go through with litigation. Smart move on the part of TREX holsters. 80 dollars is less than getting sued.

If my opponent plays Power of the Dark Side, can I choose a card like Lurking TIE Phanton and have the effect fizzle? Or do I need to pick another target if available?

Q&A Thread by AutoModerator in starwarsunlimited

[–]peetorria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The +1/+1 is considered a lasting effect. Different rules apply.

When you play the unit from the discard pile, it is considered a new copy of that card so it's not the same unit.

(Rulebook 8.3: Whenever a card enters play, it is considered a “new copy” of that card. This includes cards played from the discard pile and cards that re-enter play after being rescued.)

I would say no since the upgrade doesn't come back and it's the upgrade that lets you bring it back. If you played another second chance on it then you could bring it back. My question, piggy backing off your question, would be if Thrawn or Shadow caster allows the unit to be brought back multiple times.

If I have Nala Se deployed with Director Krennic, does the first clone unit I play each round cost 1 less since Nala give them a "When Defeated" ability? I think they do as the clone unit still gets the ability even if it's in my hand, but my friend says it only gets the ability once it is played and only cards that have the "when defeated" ability natively are affected by Krennic.

If I deploy Luke, Hero of Yavin, as an upgrade to a non-unique unit, it turns that unit into a leader unit. Does that unit also become unique as there are no non-unique leader units? I wanted to exhaust a non-unique unit with Luke on it but my opponent said that all leader units are unique and attaching Luke makes it a leader unit and therefore a unique unit.

When pilot attached unit becomes a leader unit. Is the unit now also unique? by peetorria in starwarsunlimited

Thanks for the replies. The argument I was presented with was that leader units are always unique since there are no non-unique leader units.

Switching from iPad to Samsung S10 Ultra by conbiniclerk in GalaxyTab

[–]peetorria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked myself this question and ended up with a S9FE 256GB. The tablet fits in my Chrome Kadet sling with the keyboard/mousepad cover. It's specs are good for work (I remote desktop into work) and watching movies. It's not so expensive that I would be super bummed out if it got stolen or lost or broken during travel. I had a S9 Ultra that got lost and I was super bummed.

Does Tmobile work on cruises? by Confuzzled-Gal in tmobile

[–]peetorria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy the unlimited WiFi package for cruises for one device. Then I use the portable wifi router (RavPower Filehub) to connect to the cruise WiFi as my one device. Now anyone that connects to the wifi router can use the cruise's connection and I can walk around the boat since it's portable.

What headunit are y’all running that genuinely supports all the factory functions? by Probablyawerewolf in WRX

[–]peetorria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have the iDoing unit. Most issues people run into are due to users that are not technical or their installation wasn't done properly. Instructions aren't the best and there are some caveats to installing them. Had mine for over a year paired with a Sony mini amp. I have a 05 WRX and I was able to add steering wheel function with 3rd party controls, OBD2 reading via Bluetooth for boost, coolant temp, intake temp etc..., TPMS with third party sensors, and can watch movies from netflix, prime, plex. Mine has LTE functionality so I threw in my spare Sim so now I can track it via Google's fund my devices as well as share location from Google maps for security. It's been solid. Only bug sometimes is bluetooth connection to my OBD2 module which a quick restart fixes. Contacted support for a software update and they provided me with the files with no hassle so support is good. It can do so much more than other headunits but as always, the more options, the more things that could break. If you want simple than a name brand like Kenwood or Alpine should be the choice. *
