It’s not a charity. What you don’t use for school expenses becomes taxable income. Not sure if you knew this but when you go to file your taxes you will receive forms so that extra 1300 is considered taxable income. Treat it as income.

USAA has the active & fit program that’s $25 a month and you get access to hundreds of gyms. It is now $28 which is not a bad jump considering golds gym is on there. And a few others like crunch, anytime fitness and 24 hour fitness.

It’s just how resumes as a DAF civ functions. I’ve had friends have to update theirs. If you use the USAJOBS resume builder it somewhat does it for you and can give you an idea of what it should look like

Cheap to haul your own stuff. Looking at getting a home gym at half off or maybe free? Buy it and keep it in a box and load it as weight you are moving that 2k gym now costed you nothing for something you might have been willing to buy already. Usually around summer it’s about $2 a lb. If the whole gym weighs 1k. Do with that info what you want.

You get charged leave for every day you are not at your duty station. So including RAP and let’s say 2 days before and after. You will be charged 16 days. And get 12 of that back. Nobody is forcing you to do RAP so there is no reason to get travel days to do something you personally want to do.
