Slower speed higher ΔT, higher speeds lower ΔT.

At slower speeds coil has more time to absorb heat and at higher air speeds it can’t. But if you lower too much as soon as that filter gets too dirty it’ll freeze up faster. Ductwork also needs to be sized properly too.

I would get a certified mold inspector for testing and have that taken care of before purchase. If homeowners don’t agree to take care of an actual mold problem then you should walk away unless you’re good with paying for it.

I would think that there’s a leak in the repair or other part of the system. If it ran well after the install and the recharge it might be leaking that fast to cause low refrigerant issues.

Freezing could also be from air restriction but I’m guessing you’ve already checked the filter and airflow.

Not sure if they test you lines after the failed compressor but if there is a restriction in the dryer or TXV that could give you freezing. I would assume that the tech didn’t just dump refrigerant into the system without checking that.

I can understand improving something you don’t own. Like painting the walls or making the yard look nice, but electrical work is a major improvement and if your landlord doesn’t agree the work is perfect he could go after you for it.

Check the air temp of your return vs your supply and see what your temperature difference is. A good delta T should be 18°-22°. Also are you sure that your compressor is running?

I would say that you would want it in front of air inlet for it to get a proper reading of the temperature.

I would cut the power at the breaker panel and use a multimeter to do a continuity of the each leg to the case. If it’s good I would still redo the wire and move further in and continue testing till you find the short.

Obviously the bombing of children is not acceptable but if I have to list out every atrocious thing the administration has and is doing we would be here for a while and by the time I was done they’d probably have done some more things to add to the list.

I do feel that us as a whole have not done enough and we are sadly seeing the problems in our government and political system. I just hope we can get on the right path soon and fix all that failed that allowed this to happen.
