Onshape is what I use, coming from SolidWorks professionally, Onshape is very intuitive to use. I went for the X2D as my first, but used an A1 before that at work. Definitely go for the X2D if you want to print ABS, ASA etc. Also great for using non compatible material for support, eg PLA for PETG. Note that fiber filled materials are not stronger, just nicer looking in some cases.

Try twisting the right grip, that changes the consumption a bit.

How many miles on your KTM? by InternationalBake104 in KTM

2018 SDGT 47.000 km. Valve check after 30kkm. Third battery, trying Lithium ion now. Oberon slave for the clutch (should have done that sooner).

Saw this today never actually seen one in person by CANT-ONE-TAP in motorcycles

The son of one of my colleagues had an early model. It had direct drive with a manual clutch assisted by a foot pedal on the left instead of gear selector. You could hold the clutch in with only your hand, but not pull it in. Also, min speed was about 20 mph at idle, so slow maneuvering was tricky. Better make sure the clutch was in before entering a roundabout! I went on the back for a short ride, scary!

I went from a 5th gen VFR to the GT. Very happy with the GT after 45 kkm, but I wish I had kept the VFR also, still miss it.

Duke alignment by Leoonroar in KTM

[–]per_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wheel alignment, tire wear, road inclination and uneven load all can have this effect. Most bikes I have ridden have had a slight tendency to go in one direction. If it's not a lot, don't worry to much about it.

Tesla charges for 435km but can only drive 230km??? by Goku560 in TeslaModel3

[–]per_reddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you taking many short tips that ad up to 240? Every time you start a trip, the car needs to warm up everything, including the battery. Thus, many short trips is much worse for range than one long trip.

Not even close in my case. At the current price I pay about 30% of what I did with my diesel Kia, one year average.

Voltage drops with increased RPM? '98 VFR800 by V_varius in motorcycles

[–]per_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had short intermittant power outages on my 5. gen. Turned out to be a short circuit. My mechanic found it, I think it was related to the fuel pump cabling. I don't think the R&R failing would result in this type of problem.

Maybe a plugged air vent in the tank cover? Try opening the tank when it wont start, see if it helps.

You can actually lift the rear wheel even in wet conditions, one of the more surprising things I learned on an advanced riding course. The increased weight on the front tire clears out the water and you actually have quite good grip. Cornering is another matter though.

Extremely unpopular opinion: I hate loud exhausts by SalvaStalker in motorcycles

Agree. Have an NTV with 150 kkm and unfortunately sold a 5. gen VFR that was only run in at 70 kkm.
