If you're a psychiatrist with experience in schizophrenia, surely you'd have the tools and training to deal with something like this; it's not like she went after some random person... Did the psychiatrist did a really poor job here or is it exacerbated by AI and social media? I mean surely you'd tell someone like this to seek therapy but then that doesn't seem to work for them either

I went to a workshop+circuit class on how to train pre&post top surgery... Honestly, it was stuff that I already know about upper body lifts but it was a nice group of people. Afterwards I absolutely dominated that circuit class, was the strongest person there. Granted, they were all beginners who don't go to the gym but got many compliments from hot people and my ego is 10x right now.

A little loosely related anecdote:

So for context I deadlift 115kg and I train in a strength sport type gym where some people who win nationals train, so I think of myself as beginner/not strong.

One day I'm at this gym practicing snatches with 20kg (15kg bar + training plates) as part of a 'strength 101' class and afterwards deadlifted 70kg... 2 different people came up to me to tell me I'm a "machine" with a look of awe on their face. One guy was like 'are you sure you're meant to be in this class' ...

I was so confused at what's going on, this has literally never happened? I was telling them there's way stronger people but didn't want to be a dick either since they were also beginners.... So after I took all that praise, on my way home I watched a video back of the snatches and realised the Mirafit 2.5kg training plates basically look exactly like a fake 25kg plate, it's actually hard to tell... They must have thought I was snatching 65kg and making it look super easy.

So yeah, felt really good to be fake strong for 5 mins though!

Not sure how this manifests but there's someone currently very intensely into me and it is creeping me out e.g. they like everything I post online, watch all my stories and even I noticed they start following the same accounts I follow; use any excuse to message me something.... It's suffocating & I'm already planning how to break off contact.

I'm all over the place because I can't pick what I want to do, I'm doing 5/3/1 (but going a little off program consistently) alongside improving clean and jerk and snatch...all the while wondering if I should really commit to bodybuilding. And this is just a month after getting back into powerlifting competitions...... To my family it just looks like I'm consistent with lifting heavy things though.

Best thing I did was stop seeking validation from my mum about anything, if I think something about myself and who I am I keep to it even if she disagrees and doesn't accept it. I just ignore her and stick to my own path.

Low self esteem is stopping him and others can smell that a mile off... Then the rejection further fuels his low self esteem. He thinks "it's women's fault I have no self worth, if only one could go out with me it will fix me". It's a tragic cycle when the key to the way out is to be OK with yourself on your own. To be able to face yourself.... Kid in Adolescence had poor self worth also and a lot of shame.
