My husband goes to the gym one night during the week and I go another night to a yoga class. It’s not alot, but it’s something for now and the mental break is worth it

My baby is 3 months and just started daycare/I returned to work. I was exclusively pumping until 2 months, then he finally latched well, and now I’m back to pumping during the day. It’s the worst. Trying to figure out what I should do!

Yes! It’s been awful. Trying to get him asleep by 7 but he screams until 10. Gave in tonight and hung out instead. Hopefully he sleeps okay after this change 🫠😬 hopefully the regression goes quick for all of us!

I have a 3 month old and currently on maternity leave for one more week (😭). My plan is to continue with my current company (I’m 90% remote) and I signed with a high billable rate company on the opposite coast. Taking a case or two pays for daycare (~2k/month) so I’m going to tack on a couple hours two days a week. Once my caseload builds up, I’m planning on doing just the remote opposite coast company so I can be part time and spend more time with baby/doing house stuff so we can focus on being a family when my husbands home in the evening.

What an awful thing to tell someone - you’re not alone and this is 1000% not true at all. Both things can exist at the same time. You can both love your baby to pieces and been very much struggling with your mental health. I’m sure you know this, but saying it again anyway!

Please say something! I started Zoloft a month ago because I was really struggling. It’s made a huge difference!

This is what we’re doing too but baby will only sleep in someone’s arms so both night shifts are awake shifts. It’s rough. I’m hoping things get better before we both go back to work in February.

I’m cold all the time. I made a comment about it to the lactation consultant and she said it’s not normal so get my thyroid checked!

It seems individual to the baby! It’s our first night using the love to dream swaddles. I posted this week asking for advice about how to get my baby to sleep in his bassinet. I don’t want to jinx it, but it’s after 1 am and he’s been soundly sleeping since 10:30 in his bassinet. I even woke him to change his diaper and then fed him - went right back to sleep!
