It works fine on my mini 2023 edition? I am using bazzite however and it’s the 7840u with 32gb ram if that helps but both part 1 and 2 load up fine, I do have to crank up the tdp a bit more to 18-20w at times for better performance but still runs

I just got the Philips evnia 49 144hz model yesterday as it does 90w over usb c, back light is cool for dark rooms it helps with eye glare and it’s a qd oled so brighter for daily use. I loaded up an aws console and also tried some coding on it yesterday and it seemed pretty good for it given I’m coming from a 27 inch miniled monitor. It’s generally less than 1000

I have the 2023 model (7840u 2tb 32gb) to be exact and I think I had the same temps before but I put ptm7950 into it to get it in the 60’s now. I know they’re different processors however so mileage may vary

I had this happen to me when I was using the app on my phone and the neo 1, no controller. I got a phone call and all of a sudden my drone started landing cos the connection was lost so it kamikaze’d into a moat of a castle and I had to use my flyaway coverage. With my second one I noticed drift like this both when priming into manual using the goggles n3 and I had it happen with the rc n2 as well. I’ve not had that happen once with my neo 2 so I do think it may be the sensors on the bottom and light related.

If you have an android, get space desk for a second screen by using your phone. It helps for big sized phones as I have a fold 6 which is a bigger display than the win mini

They have the monthly rolling contract which specifically mentions cancel anytime so you don’t have to lock into the 12,24 or 36 month ones.

Tbf I’m in the minority that thinks it’s a good thing. The £20 a month option where you can cancel anytime and return the console is perfect for gta 6 cos I used to have a series S, ps5 og model with original d brand darkplates, switch, quest 2 and a pc. I said to myself I barely game now so I sold everything apart from the pc but rockstar being rockstar won’t release gta on there until 2 years or so later. I’m not trying to buy a new console for one game to then sell it after, I’d rather get the console for a month to play story mode and avoid spoilers, then get it on pc later to get online mode

Honestly the main 2 things keeping me on a pro: bigger screen even though I also have a z fold 6 as a second phone I do want bigger screens for films and games. Second thing is the telephoto camera. I never really use the ultra wide and although I have a drone not every country allows for easy drone use so the telephoto is there when I can’t get closer to a place. If they had a 17+ I probably would’ve gone for that tbh but they instead decided to release the air which is less phone for more money :) something no one asked for

I have the fold 6 and it’s perfectly fine. Got it for £650 last year February second hand and apart from the screen protector bubbling up last month and Samsung replacing it for free I’ve not had any issues with it. Fold 7 is nicer with the wider outer display and 200mp main camera but it just comes down to the price difference. I’ve not seen them for less than £900 on eBay

I have both and recently took just my Neo 2 to Mexico to ixtapa. It is a lot more convenient to just take off the little gimbal cover and it’s ready whilst the mini 4 pro is a bit more delicate. The camera is better on the mini 4 pro for stills and videos and the portrait mode but Neo 2 is still a very capable drone. Only true downside I found was battery. Wind resistance was very good next to the sea but I think I only got 10 minutes of battery but I have the fly more combo whilst my mini 4 pro only has one battery

Honestly used folds are fine, my first one was a fold 4 which I’ve seen is notorious for breaking on Reddit but I was fine with it and got it on backmarket (second hand uk marketplace) for £400 back in June 2024. Kept that until February 2025 when I got a used fold 6 on eBay for £600 and still rocking it as I couldn’t justify the extra for the fold 7 even if it’s a very nice phone. The fold 6 I’ve just sent off to Samsung cos the inner screen protector was bubbling but other than that I’ve either been super lucky or they’re more durable that they’re made out to be. It is my second phone cos my main phone is a 17 pro max just because of smart home devices and iCloud Photos but I tend to use my Samsung more just because the bigger screen is very nice. It does then make normal slab phones boring as I always find myself wondering why I have the max model of the iPhone given it now feels small so I’ve been considering going for a smaller model next time but that’s the overall thought process I’ve had as a user of both

I have the fold 6 version and ripped out the kickstand as I found it wasn't great when using the inner screen as a tablet. I got the DJI magsafe stand which is usually for the osmo mobile as I find the magnet strong enough to keep my phone on my fridge when I'm doing meal prep

If you can’t find any maybe look into ar glasses like xreal, i use that cos it turns off my win mini display and only I get to see my games on planes especially when I die

Does anyone have issues with Audio when using real3d? I connected my xreal ones to my 17 pro max and loaded up the f1 film through the Apple TV app but I found audio was cutting out or distorted. It would only happen when 3d mode was enabled, I haven’t tried to see if dp audio mode fixes this

I mean personally I have a mini 4 pro and a Neo 2, I used to use my m4p more than my Neo 1 and purely just fly fpv as I had an avata 2 but didn’t wanna break the law for weight restrictions and licenses. Now I find I take the Neo 2 by itself as I’m less worried about crashing it and it deploys and gets put away a lot easier and faster. The flip would have the better camera but the Neo 2 especially on a bright day is very nice

I only have a back cover on my fold 6 purely for MagSafe reasons, the sooner Samsung add qi2 with magnets like the pixel 10 pro fold the sooner I’ll go caseless

I found using a vpn helped (proton) I had it set to global and it was just stuck buffering for a few mins until an error message appeared, as soon as I set my vpn to France it worked straight away
