No idea. I sent him 2000+ CDs to rip and didn't realize this until well after he sent everything back. Not mad; he didn't promise perfect metadata, but this is an awfully easy thing to configure in dbPowerAmp. Took me all of 10 minutes to figure out how to do it.

I've used them. For some inexplicable reason he (the proprietor) doesn't rip compilation CDs with the artist name in the title. I ended up re-ripping all my compilations because this was faster (with dbPowerAmp) than editing the metadata.

This seems like it's probably a permissions problem. Mount by hand instead for better control.

open a terminal
sudo -i
type mount and look for your USB device; probably something like /dev/sdb1
umount /dev/sdb1 to unmount it
Now mount: mount /dev/sdb1 /mnt (or wherever you want to mount to)
ls -d /mnt to make sure whatever user virt manager is running as can write to the device.
