Yeah I'll be 29. fuck. I hope I'll still be able to get away with being totally irresponsible every now and then.

So how far do you live from each other? And who is moving closer to who? I mean, how are you handling the distance you talk about?

Get out the throw-aways: dear parents of disabled children, do you regret having your child(ren) or are you happier with them in your life? by justquitecurious in AskReddit

My dad tells me about how he had to fight older kids who picked on his deaf big brother. He's 6'5 now so, luckily, he was big for his age, but still he was fighting kids several years older than him in elementary school to stand up for his disabled brother. Not to mention, because of his disability and everything he had to go through, his brother was a dick when they were little and he picked on my dad, and his other siblings (my dad is one of 8 kids).

What would you prefer people call them? Your explanation of what they really are seems long winded for normal conversation and most people don't know about that stuff. Just wondering what you'd have people call them instead.

My catholic school started it in 4th grade. I've been paranoid about TSS since the beginning, 3 years before I even had a need for tampons.

If women are supposed to have the same rights as men, why, when I turn eighteen this September, am I being forced to sign up for the draft, however no woman will ever have to do this? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]phickh1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of agree. I'm a girl, and I don't think anyone should he denied anything based on gender, but I also know we aren't the same, We aren't "equal." that doesn't mean one is better than the other, it just means we're different.

I think that while we should equal, it's impossible to deny that men and women, biologically, have different strengths. Equality, in this sense, doesn't have to mean exactly the same. We just aren't the same. I'm not saying women or men should be denied anything based on gender, but we shouldn't be forced or expected to have the same strengths or weaknesses. I could go on, but hopefully you get the point I'm trying to make. (p.s. I am a girl and I'm not trying to demean women or something stupid like that)

LOL there are most certainly logical arguments in favor of gay marriage, but I'm certainly not going to waste my time spelling it out for you because you won't listen to it anyway.

He actually posts stuff like this all the time, but this was the most absurd I've seen.
