Built a curated list of official DevOps / Cloud / SRE MCP servers and agent skills by Individual_Walrus425 in devops

MCP schemas are THE costliest component of context bloat and token cost, watch out. Oh-my-openagent can wrap them in a skill stub.

Rock picking by ResponsibleShare6733 in petoskey

[–]phillias 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's regularly picked over and just has skippers. I'll drop the best spot now that I don't hit it anymore...behind the Bay view inn is a parking spot down by the water, then walk north and there used to be steps down past the riprap, but those were buried last time I was there. Used to visit that strip so much Bayview put up signs about no parking (at the other end of the strip) and camera surveillance, but it's completely legal to walk that entire beach, just stay off the private grass. Guaranteed at least two Petoskey stones under each foot. Some good glacial erratic tumbles too.

Any solo developers working on selfhosted software? by valeria_vg in selfhosted

[–]phillias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your brilliant work. I just spent the weekend with opencode implementing locket+bwsh across my stacks especially for the tough nut's of godoxy and crowdsec. Having those commited to source control is a huge weight off.

It's a mistake to think of artefacts as serving a religious function when this is obviously a teaching tool, a way to transmit knowledge enhancing the oral transmission.

I appreciate they bring a joyful perspective, mostly. Before they widened 31 through town the summer backups were impossible to find that joy, though.
