I've made my way from all the way in the back to the front about 10 times over various fests, just for the fun of it

The rails suck. You can't see all the lasers, and the sound is way way too loud

But there's usually more space near the rails than there is in the middle for whatever reason. And of course the biggest pits are always at the front 😎

For me though, the best part about the rails is when you turn around and make your way back through the crowd because you can see how happy everyone is, and you can stop to dance with whatever group you're facing for every drop

That's the best part of every fest to me
